Just as reconciliation was seemingly taking root in the ruling Patriotic Front following unsuccessful attempts to hound out party Secretary General Wynter Kabimba, seven PF constituency chairpersons in Lusaka have reignited calls for Kabimba to be removed for brewing confusion in the party.

The seven constituencies chairperson led by Lusaka Central Constituency Chairman, Chikutano Nkhoma accompanied by several PF members, stormed QFM Radio this afternoon demanding that President Michael Sata immediately removes Mr. Kabimba as PF Secretary General and Chumbwe as provincial chairman.

Mr. Nkhoma says President Sata had earlier given a directive to the provincial committee to hold the District Conference but that Mr Chumbwe has defied the directive and has instead unconstitutionally attempted to install himself as Lusaka District Chairman.

Mr.Chikutano has noted that ignoring President Sata’s directives is what has resulted in wrangles in the ruling party not being resolved.

He says it therefore right that Mr. Kabimba and Mr. Chumbwe leave the party as their services are not needed.

Mr Nkhoma has since appealed to the Provincial Executive to quickly adhere to President Sata’s directive and hold the district conference.

And PF Acting Youth Chairman, Julius Komaki, says Mr. Kabimba’s poor judgment and poor management of party affairs has led to divisions in the party.

Mr. Komaki says Mr. Kabimba does not have the blessings of the PF youths in Lusaka because he has betrayed them in so many areas.

He says Mr. Kabimba is not needed in the party because he is just misleading party members and bringing divisions in the ruling party.

The constituency chairmen demanding Mr Kabimba’s removal are Paul Mukuka for Kabwata,Chanda Chilufya Kanyama constituency,Captain Davison Mulenga for Chawama,Morgan Ngona for Matero,Joseph Tamba Mandevu and Forbes Mufywaya for Munali constituency.

    • @Saulosi, just wait… we are not done. Your Scott, a man you consider as a white-farmer, insulted you PFs that you are nothing compared to A-Team.
Until Kabimba is gone!! I just reopened the docket to arrest that annoying son-of-a bitch with a short aka bwam…

    • @ saulosi, I agree with you 100%….These fool can not ready the issue that it is done and dusted…Imwe ba GBM, behave yourself and let us move forward please…..How many fools are going to buy? LT do not report on them anymore!

  1. I see that chikutano is voluntarily placing his head on the chopping block. Not sure whether to admire or feel sorry for these guys.

This, On the same day Mr. Sata sends Mr. Kabimba to represent him at SADC in South Africa?? This when the previous day, his name was included in the A-team by the VP???

I hope you have an ace up your sleeves that gives you the chutzpah to do this.

  2. LT you should help the country by avoiding such trivial stories, it is part of your responsibility to promote a developmental agenda and not such domestic and irresponsible activities. Use this platform to foster knowledge building, let people come back to your site of the many great lessons or information that will help to improve their lives. Covering such stories perpetuates a culture of laziness and lies. Africa needs responsible media that can shape our future – you have demonstrated leadership but you should refuse to champion petty politics. God bless Africa

  3. Do not shoot the messenger is my only comment. Report as factually as possible whether the news is good or bad. It seems most of the bloggers are slowly getting embroiled in the GBM and Wynter saga. let Lusaka Times report as things appear; of course they have leeway to select whats newsworthy – not so?

  4. So Chi Sata has sent A team, Kabimba to South Africa and instructed GBM to rekindle the protests. Now talk about liking confusion, this now looks beyond the line for Mr Sata to continue behaving like this.

  5. The tribal clique is at it once again. Check the names of those demanding for removal of Kabimba. We all know that it is more trbial than performance as they tribal clique would want to fool us.

  6. GBM’S JEALOUSY OF HON KABIMBA
WILL DRIVE HIM CRAZY…HE WILL ALWAYS
BE A LOOSE CANON AND WILL CONTINUE
TO USE HIS WEALTH TO MOBILIZE KAPONYAS
    AGAINST RESPECTABLE MEMBERS OF THE
PARTY LIKE HON KABIMBA AND OTHERS….
H.E. MUST REMOVE HIM (GBM) URGENTLY.

  7. Why are these guys demanding for elections????????? Haven’t they heard that Mulenga Sata is the new acting district chairman??????? Why are they letting themselves to be used like this when in the end it will be them to be ejected out of the party? They have no idea that HEMCS can get annoyed by them challenging Sata’s orders?? Yaba, even dullness has never reached these low levels.

  8. How can they use daft arguments like Chumbwe wants to install himself as district chairperson when Chumbwe is the provincial chairman? What they really don’t want is Mulenga Sata, but they are such cowards that they can’t say it openly. BUT the president has seen them and now he even has their names. Watch this space.

  9. Let LT give us the information they have. You are the same people who ll complain if you are not updated on such issues. LT don’t listen to them!

  10. Hey this is interesting, at the same time irritating! Yaaaack !!!! When Mr Kabimba is out of the country, why didn’t they protest when he was rencocilling with Chikwelete and Banda? Twanaka nelyashi ili, find a life guys, Shaa! Wynter ale mijijimya guys!

  11. was there an indication of unfinished business?….let’s talk about more pressing developmental issues than this stuff. Not again folks!

  12. Spot on Sundan! Bauze money can not buy wisdom, on another note I want to find out when CEEC is going to start disbursing funds for the other projects in value addition such fish processing, wood products making etc, we long submitted our plans and it was reported in the press that CEEC has approved abt 1079 outof 8172 for funding abt K25 million has been released for aquaculture commercialization and dairy farming actvities, from K65 million approved by CEEC board of directors, so when is the rest of the money going to be released, PF are battling to create jobs, this can help in a way, why the delay? Thats why I like Mr Kabimba coz he doenst hide his displeasure over such issues, What is DG Mukumbuta saying?

  13. The Party Secretary General should discipline these thugs instant.! These hired thugs by the Tribal clique are the ones bringing confusion in the PF. We never heard of these people when the PF was in opposition.
