Zambia Under-17 Women’s Team coach Albert Kachinga believes that his team has the potential to perform well at the 2014 World Cup in Costa Rica.

The team made history on Sunday after eliminating South Africa 6-4 on aggregate to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.

Kachinga said adequate preparation would help the team to perform well at the World Cup.
“That is a very stage what is important is to prepare. Preparations is the key to success if we prepare well we will do well,” he said.

Kachinga saluted his team for qualifying to the World Cup.

“It was quite difficult considering that we drew here in Zambia 3-3 and then we went to win 3-1,” he said.

Kachinga added:”I think it also goes down to good planning and good preparations.”

“The mood was okay in camp we psyched the girls nicely I think it gave us a lot of confidence.”

    • Ya maybe the better u spend that time cleaning up the pupu mess of your old white man. You not doing him justice besides him putting u on a 20 pound salary per week.

TO THE SHEPOLOPOLO, congrats and focus on your future not to be like your fellow sister who boasts of some old white man who forces her to buy sex toys as he is finished

  1. If only the girls can be mentored to stay away from sex life and engage them into school, they they have a future. Push them into teacher training colleges, and they may end up sports teachers.

  2. Albert Kachinga is still around hey? That’s good. Watched him many years back when he played for Railway Express football club in Ndola. Glad he not roaming the streets but doing something .

  3. Zambia will be a force to reckon with if natured well for girls team because the fruits of success depends on the nursary, thats why Nigeria will be doing fine throughout having done well at under 17 and 20. We keep on struggling at senoir national team because we have gone to sleep with our jonior squads.

    • I remember watching Albert Kachinga at Monze Swallows when there were the likes of Oliya Zulu in goal….Japhet Simpemba….Spinks Chibale….Alex Musungu…Harry ‘Waya’ Chanda…Obby Mungaila….Simon Banda…Philip Chipopa…Bowas ‘Bowi’….Dominic ‘Magoye’ Sikazwe .
This was a well drilled team those days……by coach Mulowa Shempwela

  4. What a useless comment by the sports minister by saying that Government policy is to sponsor the senior natinal team. Junior Shipolopolo have done what the senior national team have always been crying for , Mr Kambwili through his Buteko Should learn to give equal oportunities . We need young ones for a better tomorrow. Viva Shipolopolo young girls God will be with you as you go to Costa Rica.
