Winner will host either KCC of Uganda or El Merriekh of Sudan in the first round during the weekend of February 28 in the first leg and March 9 in the return leg.

Should Nkana successfully negotiate both rounds, they will face a potential pre-group stage date against arch-nemesis Zamalek of Egypt.

However, Zamalek must first also negotiate AS Dounes of Niger in the preliminary round and the winners of the first round battle between Kabuscopr of Angola and Cote d’Or of The Seychelles.

Meanwhile in the CAF Confederation Cup, Zesco United enjoy a preliminary round bye.

Zesco will travel for their first round game to face the winner of Mozambique side Ferroviario Beira or Azam of Tanzania tie in the last weekend of February.
