Some headmen in Kasama have teamed up to show solidarity for former Defense Minister Geoffrey Mwamba.
Village headmen in the area have advised Republican President Michael Sata to find an amicable solution to the impasse with all Bemba Chiefs.
Meanwhile 6 of the former Defense Minister’s supporters were arrested and have appeared before the Kasama Magistrate court for conduct likely to cause the breach of peace.The 6 were denied bail and remain in custody.

Honestly, taking into account that Sata’s misrule will end in 2016 or even sooner, it is wise for all Bembas to support and respect their natural Traditional Chiefs. In this regard they must support GBM for his demonstration of love for the Bemba Chiefs.

The bembas have always been too good at divide and rule tactics and looking down on other Zambian tribes, now they are succeeding in splitting themselves apart.
Now GBM’s supporters are being charged and it won’t be long before he is locked up with them. I remember when the lozis were being rounded up by Sata and GBM one blogger on this site said they should be locked up and the keys thrown away.
At least for now lozis are on respite watching closely the bemba vs bemba showdown.
