Choma Eagles set for Copperbelt camp

Share

Promoted FAZ Super League side Choma Green Eagles are next week
scheduled to be on the Copperbelt for pre-season training.

Club coach Justin Chinama says Eagles will set up camp in Ndola from
February 4-13 to play a series of friendly matches.

Chinama said his technical bench wants to improve the player’s fitness
ahead of the 2014 FAZ Super League season.

“We want to judge the players’ fitness levels and we are targeting
Division One teams,” the 2013 Zambia National Service coach of the
year said.

While on the Copperbelt, Eagles are expecting to play friendly matches
against Kalulushi Modern Stars, Kitwe United, Mufulira Blackpool, Lime
Hotspurs and Luanshya United.

Chinama said after the Copperbelt camp Eagles will travel to Kabwe to
face Prison Leopards and Chindwin Centries in their last two
friendlies.

Eagles last year won promotion back to the Super League after winning
the 2013 FAZ Division One South league.
