Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Women’s Affairs Chairperson Namakau Kabwika has implored people in the country not to take seriously pronouncements made by the Patriotic Front (PF) government and President Michael Sata in particular.
Ms. Kabwika said this is because the PF government has made a lot of pronouncements which they have not implemented and that it is not expected that it will manage to implement such pronouncements in its last two years.
The opposition women affairs chairperson further said that it is also unfortunate that the PF government is even failing to appreciate and openly tell the nation that they are still working on the projects left by the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) on paper.
She said that the people of Zambia are tired of listening to pronouncements by the PF government that it is making efforts in ensuring that development is taken on their door steps when in fact that is not the case.
And Ms. Kabwika has questioned the essence of sending text messages to the people that they are developing the nation when the people themselves can see on their own if truly there is any development taking place in the country.
She added that it is however imperative for government to come out in the open and tell the nation if at all it has finished implementing projects left by the previous government and how many of the said projects it has implemented so far since assuming office.

Kabwika go away, I don’t know you, and i have no reason to
Thanks
Iwe @1 Are you not supposed to be monitoring events in your domicile? You’re so cynical of Zambia but you religiously follow the events. Don’t you have a government in Ireland which you can hold accountable, seeing thats where your taxes are paid?
Right on Mushota. I know this woman, she is just a chihule in Chelston and l even doubt if she has gone beyond Grade 9.
Very true madam kabwika. Only useful idi.ots take this bunch of CNPs serious. PF is full of thugs not to be trusted.
I will make sure that Sata his PF thugs pay every penny they are stealing and appologise to the public for deceiving them. This will be the condition for their release from jail as prescribed by the bible. In simple terms it is known as paying restitution.
It will actually be easy because we know Sata only declared 7 guns and we know how much he gets paid.
@Mushota….!!!
She is your Fellow woman. You people you usually say GIRL POWER….!!
Kabwika is right. Honestly who can trust PF with jumbling and rumbling of programs.
All its MP r are hallucinated….!!!
Much as we agree that this government has failed to fulfil a single campaign promise, we still take its pronouncements seriously because they affect our lives. The exchange rate and investor confidence are but a few of the parameters that get affected with PF pronouncements and that affects us. We can neither turn a blind eye nor a deaf ear to that madam. We are either infected or affected…
Third eye’s already tinted vision is highly being blurred by his third eye.
However he will be forgiven because this is not entirely his fault. The man has never seen the inside of a college.
But let him go and enquire from the department of development studies at UNZA.
Zambis is among 10 fastest developing nations in the world today. What Sata whom I did not personally vote for has done in two years is what we were supposed to to have done during the first 47 years of our independence.
Third eye, If you want to attack Sata, attack his personality. or accuse him of going to India for medication. At least that is what HH and Mumba are doing.
You surely cant attack his development strategies unless you are really dull.
MUM, JUST JOIN THE OPPOSITION. YOURS ARE BASELESS PRONOUNCEMENTS. PEOPLE HAVE GOT EYES TO TELL WHICH GOVERNMENT IS DOING WHAT?
OTHERWISE, NAME THE PROJECTS WHICH WERE LEFT BY THE PREVIOUS GOVERNMENT.
MMD WERE IN POWER FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS.
IF ITS TRUE THEY LEFT UNFINISHED PROJECTS, WHY DID THEY NOT CARRY THEM OUT? FOR 15YEARS!
@ Luapula premier
Blind, deft, brainless.
ARE YOU POLITICKING?
MMD WERE IN POWER FOR CLOSE TO 20 YEARS. DOES IT TAKE 20YEARS:
TO BUILD NEW UNIVERSITIES?
TO CLEAN UP LIVINGSTONE?
TO TAR THE PEDICLE ROAD TO LUAPULA?
TO REFURBISH THE NKUMBULA AIRPORT?
RE REFURBISH LUSAKA CITY BUS TERMINALS?
TO DO DUAL CARRIAGE WAYS?
TO BUILD THE MONGU ROAD?
TO BUILD A SIMPLE MUFUCHANI BRIDGE IN KITWE?
TO START BUILDING A NEW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT?
ETC
@Luapula Premier’. I felt I should give some response to you because we Zambians must begin to have a sense of balance to appreciate the contribution every government is going to make to our country. With due respect Sir the PF government will make some contributions but it will not build everything that Zambians want. The MMD had to grapple with an economy that that had bled from the liberation wars and had no forex ( could not import from the nearest suppliers in South Africa) and mended it. MMD built the Katima mulilo Bridge, the Mwanawasa Bridge, the Mfuwe road, the Mchinji railway, the Mongwe road, the Mutanda Chavuma road.. I could go on but it is not important. Just read the Chikwanda 2012 budget speech presented, November 2011 & will see what Chikwanda says on the economy MMD…
You forgot some LUAPULA PREMIER,
1) The new airline will be coming soon
2) Zambia Railways
3) 650 health posts
4) Chogwe bridge
5) Link 8000
6) L400
7) Pave 2000
8) Stadias
9) ZNBC is different. Oppositions are aired now
10) Kalulushi Sabina road
11) Lighting up of Mwinilunga, Traffic Lights in Mufulira for the first time
12) Rural electrification
13) Expanding of Great East Road from Arcades to the airport (NEW PROJECT)
14) Toll gates
15) Ring roads
16) The Judiciary is independent ( For the first time)
17)
Ha ha ha ha!
You people can really be jokers! Which country are you talking about? For sure it is not the Zambia I see every day with my own eyes.
Or maybe you are just blind!
Just Shut up your dirty beak and stop arguing what this lady is trying to put across. If with you visionless thinking, Zambia has attained the economic development level under your govenment that some of us dream of, then you must be sick in the head and need to be examined mentally.
Musata nyoko we nsoka
Python what Zambia needs is development. It does not matter which President brings the development, this includes your President.
Infact remind your President of choice that if he is not going to match up to Sata in terms of development initiatives, then it will be too bad for for this nation.
This explains the SIM registration. These dudes want to start bombarding us with texts about how they are doing excellently in running the nation.
When one has to blow their own horn, they are on the way out. Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Mandela, Jimmy Hendrix, Ghengis Khan and such like didn’t have to praise themselves. When you find yourself having to go on a “charm offensive” it means you’re finished. Like a rap artist or like Mampi, lil kim and shakira having to hit the headlines for lewd dancing when she’s meant to be a singer.
adding to the PF achievements from the above lists
connecting tarmac from Luwingu to Chilubi island, from Luwingu to Samfya, from Luwingu to Kawambwa, Luwingu to Mansa and from Luwingu to Katuta imwe osasobela ka!. I also most ditched PF when i was reading the article but God the almighty whispered to me hey Edwin what do you want to do. stop it man. PF is working you will soon have a general hospital to be constructed lwenge area, the district will have a filling station, street lights etc. the people saying PF is not working are merely looking for employment from the PF government and I said Yes hahahahahhhhhhiiii hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa kwena chishinka they want employment sure
…and adding to your lunacy,
1. Cow dung smokin
2. Mising brain
3. Halucination
4.ubukopo
Adding to the achievements of the PF
1. Skyroketing mealie meail price (Un precedented)
2. Increase in fuel price
3. Brutal Police force, misapplication of public order act
4. Compromised Judiciary, DEC, toothless ACC
5. Constitutional confusion
6. Clampdown on the media, trying by all m,eans to close watchdog and twitter – only to open an account
7.Confusion on Barotse agreement which they cheated to restore in 90 days
8. Panga Family culture – hacking Zambian to death
9. Estab;lishment of high grade family jungle in the civil service, foreigh missions
10. An outbreak of curruption – All Government officials can be as currupt as possible, as long as they remain in PF
11 Disrespect and quaralling with our traditional leaders the least is endless
@dont kubepa
You are absolutely spot on. You have listed some of the real issues which really matter to the majority poor Zambians. All you have mentioned are what most poor Zambians are using to judge PF not those populist pronouncement alluded to by some PF useful Id.iots.
Based on the facts you have listed in your blog PF are simply CNP and a bunch of liars.
Only projects left in motion by MMD will be completed by 2016.
On the roads, I can honestly give them credit (But of course most of the projects were started by MMD and PF called the projects formula 1) The big worry is how much have they borrowed, chimbwi no plan. Plus too much dirty deals in their tenders, so while they are buidling roads, some people, incliding former dog sellers are smiling all the way to the bank
What I see from all these comments is that those benefiting from PF, they support PF. ordinary Zambians don’t see any benefit and don’t support PF suggesting that we soon usher in a Zambian gvt not a Muchinga or Northen gvt . If we can wait up to 2016 better or else the tide of problems is rising.
Janza, tell HH that if at all he is ever going to rule Zambia, he is not going to rule because he is Tonga but because he is a Zambian with capacity.
The only reason why Zambians will not vote for HH is because he wants a Tonga to rule. That is stone age thinking. Surely can someone rule just beacuse he is Tonga?
UPND can hallucinate…
Hey Luapula fellow. Common etiquette is that one does not use capital letters. It is regarded as rude and the equivalent of shouting!
On the psychological front, it denotes cowardice and the need to hide ones true self behind loudness.
So what is it? Are you some physical midget that is ugly as a Rhino hind quarters, with a micro p.enis and low self esteem?
Miss Muffet, sorry to say that you have no quantitative additions to this discussion so the best you can do is insult. This kind of bitterness is what is eating your man HH.
Stay away from political talk my sister, especially if it is going to raise your adrenaline levels. There is so much you can do in life than just sit there and wait for Mpombo or HH to rule Zambia.
Go home lady.
@ cnn, luapula premier: I toatally disagree with your short sighted analysis of the projected success of the pf in the last 3 years.in life we must be factual and not behave like cadres.honestly can you say inthe last 20 years zambia didn’t move forward under the mmd .before 1991 we had the following:
1-suppression of human rights,no freedom of association and your current president was part of unip
2-we lacked a transport network that could cope with the public demand, ubz was a skeleton ,it took 8 hours to travel from copperbelt to lsk
3-simple things like bath soap, sugar, cooking oil were hard to find we had to spend days on queues to buy essential commodities
4-home ownership was the privy of the political elite, the mmd set in place a policy where zambians today in their millions…
The biggest coup that PF have had is the ability to reduce politics to common larceny, racketeering, thuggery and degrading of the person and occupation. This and the moving this from detestable fringes to desirable mainstream behavior is their success.
We’ve been converted into a country of virtual and actual pros.titutes. PF should be ashamed, but are not. They are brazen.
Parliament is a place for fvcking women, the executive is where money is looted and judiciary a farcical comedy with geriatric clowns in charge.
Cant blame laptop for his wapt thinking. Our dented past will always be here to haunt us.
Could this be the main reason why we need to be constantly monitored by our superior colleagues in the West?
Why is it that in Zambia Politics has always been synonimous with what Laptop is saying?
