2013 Best Assistant Referee of the Year Moses Mwale is pleased to have scooped the award.
Lusaka referee Mwale saw off competition from Chansa Kabwe of Kalulushi and his town mate Romeo Kasengele to land the award.
Mwale said winning the award was not easy.
“It was a tough league (2013) and there was stiff competition among referees,” he said.
Mwale said:”It’s an eye opener to me and my colleagues.
“I am very grateful that I have been recognised, you know it is not
easy,” Mwale added.
Meanwhile, Kitwe referee Gladys Lengwe retained the Best Referee of the Year award he scooped in 2012.
