MMD Die Hard Youth Wing National Coordinator Bowman Lusambo has said that President Michael Sata’s statement that most of his PF Members of Parliament are useless is a final confirmation that the PF will never bring development to Zambia.
In a statement released to the media, Bowman Lusambo advised the President Sata to call for an early election which will usher in a new set of leaders who will be useful to Zambia.

OUR HEARTS ARE BLEEDING FOR MOTHER ZAMBIA
Lusaka, 17.02.14
We as MMD youths find the recent statement by President Michael Sata that most of his MP’s are useless as a final confirmation that the PF will never bring development to Zambia.
This confirms our firm belief that the PF does not have men and women with the capacity to bring about meaningful social and economic development.
We however do not find Mr Sata’s lamentations strange because we have always known that the PF is a collection of men and women with low caliber without an iota of knowledge on governing the nation.
Our call therefore is for President Sata to call for an early election which will usher in a new set of leaders who will be useful to Zambia.
The current crop of useless MPs is the ones stressing President Sata and costing his health. We therefore appeal to President Sata to call for early elections which will save him from the trouble of running government with useless MPs.
This also goes to explain why the PF is currently engulfed in endless internal wrangles because most of its MPs do not have anything useful to contribute to the national development agenda.
Parliament plays a key role in a democratic dispensation and it is a disservice to have a house with useless members of the ruling party.
As MMD youths, we are also concerned that having useless MPs from the ruling party is a great cost to the nation.
Our humble appeal is also extended to the affected MPs to examine their conscious and ask themselves if they should continue drawing huge allowances at public expense when they are useless to this nation.
The challenge also goes to Zambians to be more careful the next time they elect leaders to take up such important offices.

If the General says his troops are useless (although he is right) honestly what hope have they got on the battlefield and where does it leave himself as the General (utterly exposed). Declining standards of MP debates prompted him to say, spend less time in Parliament Motel and more in National Assembly Library to raise your quality of contribution.Fortunately, for FTJ enough fire power to choose from already existed for his frontline politics.As time went by that just got better, he never had poach or create unnecessary by-elections.The brilliance of his leadership attracted the cream. Now this kadansa thinks KMB bus stop is the best place to source RDA chairman(Willy Nsanda) and Livingstone Chibuku tarvens for deputy minister(Lawrence Evans) and you expect a dfferent outcome in parliament. Good call for an early election if indeed Sata did make these utterances. In addition Kambili is on record “suggesting” that all those that voted for PF are NOT NORMAL for believing in their promises. This simply adds to the fact that we have no functioning state.

He abused the trust bestowed upon him and his newspaper and deceiptfully used that to “influence” unsuspecting Zambians to vote for these now “useless” MP’s and we can include their leader in that category. Dr Makasa why is it that whatever our President says needs interpretation from someone else? Why do some people have such a gift of interpreting the Presidents parables while most of us are denied such a gift? In any case why always speak in Parables even on simple things? No sir! on this one I dont need your interpretation. He meant what he said i.e. Most of the PF MPs are useless. He just echoed what Mr. Mangani said a few weeks ago that most PF MPs cannot match UPND MPs. He admired UPND MPs big time and encouraged us to listen to the debates on Parliament Radio to confirm what he was saying. Let them resign so that PF can have better MPs.

BUT IF THIS WAS TRULLY SAID BY SATA THEN THIS COUNTRY IS IN TROUBLE
If the president said that, then he is really being reckless. Useless as his MPs might be, they are the ONLY ones who constitutionally have the power to fire him. It is possible that they can gang up with the opposition and impeach him. I think Sata is treading on dangerous ground by thinking that his MPs are dead wood. I wouldn’t bank on that , even dead wood has limits on how far you can push it. PF is already a divided house, impeachment by his own MPs is not far fetched.
It would be a bad precedence we would be setting of impeachements,lets wait for 2016.

But who was picking the useless MPs? is it not PF itself. How do you pick an MP with no evidence of previous delivery either in private, community and government sector. Some have lost touch with rural life and expect to represent rural constituents. They are there as a way of living and not service. If cannot have a home in their constituency how can they represent the people.

Pf mps yes are not technocrats.very few are.I agree with Mr sata.the most articulate are,wiybur.miles tho not much,gl kalaba you can’t much them mmd mps.
But MPs are not supposed to be technocrats that is why there is the civil service.
But this is where the problem is when it is only relying on technocrats, technocrats also need a visionary ,intellectual, wise leader who can debate issues with them on an intellectual basis both at presidential and MP level, so that the technocrats can fulfill the visions of the intellectual wise leaders. The power of motivation is seen in real life in situations where someone works for a an unexposed leader there is not much motivation to exceed limits it will just be routine as usual, but if someone works for a highly exposed, intellectual wise boss who produces results, the sky is the limit.

Honourable men and women. I write this letter to draw the attention of the public inclusive yourselves PF MPs as per lead story that appeared in the posts newspaper dated 17.02.2014. Where your party Pf President at the same time our republican president Michiel Chilufya Sata openly told you that most of you ” You are useless” in the presence of the media houses. This story demands serious reflections. I believe that all men and women of integrity should have rsigned by to day to proove to the whole world that you are not useless. This is a very serious matter , unless you dont have personal integrity to serve. Why should you be treated like begars?. We will never develop Zambia if at all times people can not demonstrate independence of their personal values.
Such a thing will never ever happen in America,i can imagine Obama calling those senators useless,thats an automatic impeachment for the president.Very sad for this country,we the voters are not taken seriously……………if all these pf mps are useless then its only him who is intelligent and useful

Yes i agree with you Mr President,here in Luanshya we have one MP/minister who is one of those useless mps.He has vandalised our mine shaft headgear and pocketed the money into his bottomless pocket.But for sure his time is coming and i can confidently assure him that posterity judge him harshly.
