People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President George Mpombo has charged that no amount of chemotherapy will work in the PF government’s favour if it fails to deliver a new republican constitution before the 2016 elections.
Dr. Mpombo has reiterated that it is still possible to enact a new constitution before the 2016 general election provided government stops employing delaying tactics on the current constitutional making process.
Dr. Mpombo said he is convinced that the country could have the new supreme law before 2016 if government seriously applies itself to the current constitutional making process.
He warned that failure by the Patriotic Front (PF) government to deliver a new people driven constitution will result in consequences too drastic to contemplate.
Dr. Mpombo said the ruling PF will pay a high price as the people of Zambia will react by voting it out of government in 2016.
He told Qfm News in a telephone interview that what is important therefore is for the PF government to conclude the constitutional making process before 2016.

Yes. After RB an his team had done so much public relations damage with their constituents, they tried a ‘Formular 1’ Therapy and we all know it ended badly. Sometimes it is not the good that is done but how and when. In this case PF risks earning the cynicism of the voters in a negative way… yet I do like their infrastructure drive; it doesn’t look like a farcical facade…
I agree with you Kalok. What amazes me is the stubborn attitude from the PF. It seams to me that everything cannot just be done unless there is a fight; or shall i say “ifikansa”; what a people!! No pleasantness in words, attitude and general conduct of government business. Very poor public relations; am sure God is directing this country somewhere, away from cheeky behaviour.

Talk about what he has said and not a person, this him. Chemotherapy means the treatment of cancer with drugs, I ve give this because I know u dont the dictionary to know. U dont even know anything of that nature.

State House should be aware that the same people they are working with today and giving contracts are also giving information to opposition about their dirty activities at RDA of inflating tender sums for kickbacks and also over flouting of tender processes.
Mpombo cannot be a doctor. He failed to finish his MBA at AIBT because, as he told his classmates when he read something difficult or he failed to understand what the lecturer was explaining, he was seeing stars. He uses because words to cover up for his inadequacies in education.
Hope you are not just being envious of him. Why would anyone have to tell the whole world that he is studying privately?

The decision to retire the old constitution was not made yesterday. It has been on the books for decades. The idea to continue playing soccer in an old stadium that was condemned to be unsafe years back; when a brand new stadium and modern stadium has just been completed by the Chinese is nonsensical.
If the PF have no ears to listen to the cries of the stakeholders with respect to the constitution, they will be made to listen some other way. And that other way is not going to be the pleasant one for Mr. Sata’s party. If anything, is already building a legacy toward self-destruction.
This is the cancerous tumor that destroys not only itself but also everything else around it, that Dr. George Mpombo is here referring to. I doubt there will be an easy cure for PF.
