President Michael Sata’s public admission that all his Ministers are useless is an indictment on himself

   • And If HIS ministers are useless, so is HE. When appointing them what did he see in them which he cannot see now but sees uselessness in them, EVEN supporters of his regime is use…………….xxxxxxx.
     He gives very wrong directives like revamping of welfare Halls, we need more schools than those hall which were only found in SOME towns. One day he direct police officers to be wearing Shorts as uniforms, because he thinks of UNIP days, he doesn’t appreciate modernization which we are in. I think Zambia needs a leader of today not yesterday (SATA), no. Sata needs to be taken to a farm and give him old books to read and he looks after fish and chickens,, not human beings.

Why why why why and why no Minister stands up to tell Sata that ” …ichindikeko, ulekeko ifya bupuba panono”. There is no way he can go about insulting even women like Mrs Dorothy Kazunga, and all laughs it off.

   • Sata’s has so far been acting like a Chief Executive of a company, who has notified the Board of Directors that he will be leaving the company after the end of the financial year. In the mean time he decides to use his remaining working days to:

     01) Annoy everyone at work
     02) Start fights, Gossip, Innuendos
     03) Implicate his subordinates
     04) Phone in sick as much as he can
     05) Report for work, just for announcement.
     06) Siphon as much money as he can
     07) Sit and just do nothing at the office
     08) Abuse company resources
     09) Find his relatives job in the company
     10) Self praise his accomplishment & Demand as much pension package he can

     The truth is, Sata does not care. His dream come to pass, he has no time and energy to steer his Cabinet and they are useless to say the…

   • It’s very easy to test Sata’s remarks about his ministers – those who are NOT USELESS will RESIGN for being insulted. The USELESS ONES WILL NOT RESIGN COZ THEY’RE SO USELESS THAT THEY ; 1.    • Sata has just vindicated HH once more. When HH said the PF is full of CNP, PF minions took the hills and shouted tribalism and bitterness. Who has the last laugh right now when even their Boss Sata has admitted openly that his cabinet and himself are CNPs.

4. Antonio Mwanza could not have said it better. It is a true reflection of the leadership at the top and at the end of the day, with ministers changing like underwear, the buck stops with the President. He needs to show leadership. How can tax payers being footing huge bills for people who are not showing results. On the other hand, the President really needs to employ a PR specialist because he has a tendency of speaking without fully understanding the repercussions of his statements. Its a very sad state of affairs in Zambia and beyond a laughing matter.

5. I can immediately tender in my Resignation.

   • The problem in Zambia is that the highest achievement is a job of a minister. They feel like they are cardinals.
     I never seen a minister who went back to work as a primary school headteacher. Give me an example of a former minister who has humbled him/herself who went back to get a “humble” civil servant job.

6. I doubt he meant what he said. He is just frustrated by the type of timber has has to work with to repair and sustain his wooden boat that seem to be sinking fast and taking the country with it and his ministers seem not to be able to help him.

   Being a president of the land is a higher calling. Gone are the days when you could use fear and intimidation to get things done. We are in a new and unchartered territory and you need the best and indepemdnt minds to navigate the current world setup and not just yes men all around you.

   Anyway, I wish the president well because he is at the wheel of the bus called Zambia and I pray he does not plunge this bus into the river. We all , as Zambians, stand to lose if he fails. I think he can redeem the situation. It is not late.

     Sata should have stayed at sea in boat, where the only obstacle is wind. As a boat captain he could have been drinking with his pirate ministers day and night. Indeed there is no carpenter in that boat, even their local navigator Guy-Scott started behaving like those Pirates Ministers. The boat is sinking!!

10. the truth we can,t just see or we,re pretending the man at helm of this country is not normal.if they can constitute a board of medical doctors definitely they can discover that zambians are being governed by a lunatic.i know kaseba knows very well but she fear to tell us zambians about the mental capacity of the man.the guy took a lot of hard stuff during his prime time which have made him to be a zombie.he smoked a lot of dagga,sniffing cocain and drinking heavely so he has lost it all.

11. Then some minister will go public defending him/herself to be useful. Kambwili, hopefully this time around the message has settled well with you. Your boss has just told the nation and the world that you Kambwili and other ministers are useless. And for sure he is spot on, the signs are all written on the walls, with increased poverty levels and corruption for all to see and notice. Now, HE Mr Sata, what are you going to do about your tribal and useless cabinet?

13. That clause in the Constitution for Ministers from outside parliament is meant to remedy that frustration of working with useless ministers who only made it because they crapped a lot of lies to get into the August house. So we need the new constitution enacted YESTERDAY.

18. This president is out of his depth, he has LAMENTABLY FAILED to lead and motivate his ministers. …Sata is a BOSS and certainly NOT a LEADER. He only has himself to blame as he not only has USELESS MINISTERS but he has interfered with civil service appointments and surrounded those SELFSAME useless ministers with useless handpicked PF cadres masquerading as civil servants… a sure recipe for disaster.
    To be fair to them Sata is the most useless president to ever reside in State House.
    Another reason why we need a new constitution! !

    I wonder what the spouses, children, relations and friends of these ministers must be going through. If those ministers had any morals at all they would not continue drawing salaries and allowances, it amounts to daylight robbery and one wonders why they can’t be fired. It also confirms that there is too much rottenness in the way they get these jobs, nepotism.

    The Zambian people by way of demonstrating their right to vote, ushered in the party of their choice to lead them. However, with power comes corrupt intentions and the PF with their way of governance have expressed the lack of leadership the Zambian people hoped for.

    Today, it is a pity that the same people who got the confidence of the masses can turn around and insult the whole population with their self styled dinosaur and old fashioned way of leadership.

    Zambia is not the same way it was 20 years ago. If you are part of the PF government history will repeat itself…the same way the past leaders thought that they were indispensable…the reality will strike you.

    I remember sata being interviewed on ZNBC about some bad policies in chiluba’s govt. The cobra defended himself by saying he was only a mere conductor(minister) and chiluba was the driver(president).

    You see God has a way of doing things today the cobra is the driver(president) and now he is blaming his conductors(ministers).

    In the near future sata’s ministers will use the “conductor” term in their defence as they aspire for higher offices, watch the space!

30. Antonio Mwanza’s call for President Sata to ‘simply dissolve his government and call for fresh elections’ is impractical. Must PF resign on the basis of what the president said or on the merit of their perceived performance?

    We all know that president Sata struggles with his vocabulary when he has to express himself in English. Must he be put on trial for using the word “useless” inappropriately and probably out of context? When he said: “useless” exactly what did he mean in Chibemba, his mother tongue?

    Was he passing judgment on his ministers and writing them off? Or was he merely chiding, and scolding them for not performing to his expectations or possibly the expectation of the public? Can’t we fathom a better standard to use than the word “useless”?

33. Ministers cannot do wonders if their leader has no vision himself.A good leader can acquire a mediocre team and inspire them to be winners…but Sata is clearly far from that.He’s the most useless of the whole bunch.

35. All the ministers should resign for either of two reasons. They must fit into either of them by; 1) Claiming that they are not useless and have therefore been insulted. Thus are resigning on principle 2) That they ARE actually useless and thus cannot continue to cheat the Zambian people and draw unwarranted remuneration.
