Government has assured the public that the reported sporadic out break of the contagious chicken pox has been contained.
Speaking in an interview Health deputy Minister Dr. Chitalu Chilufya said government has put in measures to ensure that disease does not spread.
Dr. Mulenga said government has instructed health workers in the country to sensitize members of the public to avoid an escalation in the spread of the disease.
He further called on the public not worry as the disease has been controlled after recording sporadic cases across the country.
He also said by sensitizing the public the levels of suspicion will be raised hence leading to early detection of the disease before it spreads.
