Muchinga Member of Parliament Howard Kunda says there are currently 34 projects being implemented in all the 9 wards in his constituency using the Constituency Development Funds(CDF).
Mr. Kunda who is in the constituency to check on developmental projects in the constituency said they have decided as the people of Muchinga constituency to share the funds among all the wards to ensure that some wards are not left behind in the development of Muchinga.
The parliamentarian said though the funds are inadequate as the constituency is one of the biggest in the country he has decided to implement projects in all the wards in order to have the constituency develop at the same time.
“Mr. President CDF is being shared fairly here in this constituency; we currently have 34 projects in all the 9 wards. Because we about all the wards in this constituency; there is not ward without a project in the constituency because we want to develop the constituency at the same pace.”
And Mr. Kunda has pledged to ensure that his party president is elected as republican president in the 2016 polls.
He called on the MMD members to vigorously campaign for Dr. Mumba if they are to alleviate the suffering that the PF is subjecting them to.
“Mr. President we will work hard in Muchinga constituency to ensure we take you to state house so that we also have access to farming inputs, so that we can have cheap meal mealie and transport. We also want medicine in our clinics because we don’t have all these things here because they are saying you are from the opposition MMD.
But since we have the power and wisdom to change things in 2016 we will make sure that we put you in State House so that we can also have access to these things also.”
Mr. Kunda was speaking when his party president visited his constituency during his tour of the Central Province.

How much is disbursed to each constituency and can we have a report at National level how the CDF funds were utilized in each constituency with tangible results.
