Warriors install fortress ‘Ucar’

Kabwe Warriors coach Mohamed Fathy is promising to turn Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium into a fortress in the second half of the 2014 season.

Warriors are unbeaten at home in two successive games for the first time this season under the Egyptian.

On Sunday, early relegation favourites Warriors beat second placed Zesco United 1-0 a fortnight after they shocked Nchanga Rangers 2-0 at the same venue.

“No more Warriors losing at home this season, it is over,” Fathy said.

Interestingly, Warriors have only suffered three home defeats from eight league games at Railway Grounds this season where they have won twice and draw three times.

Meanwhile, Fathy has a warning for their next opponents at ‘Ucar’ on July 19 when the league resumes after the three-week mid-season break.

“We will be ready for the second round. We will host Power Dynamos and we will ready for them!” Fathy said.
