Unpredictable Nkana host Al Ahly

Nkana on Saturday face Egyptian giants Al Ahly in a 2014 CAF Confederation Cup penultimate Group B tie in Kitwe hoping to improve their chances of advancing to the semi-finals.

Ahly lead Group B with eight points, four ahead of third placed Nkana after four matches played.

Nkana are also seeking revenge after losing 2-0 to Ahly in the corresponding fixture in a Group B opening game on May 17 in Cairo.

The Zambian champions trot into Nkana Stadium motivated after beating Tunisian club Etoile du Sahel 4-3 at the same venue two weeks ago.

Nkana seem to be treating this match seriously.

“We want to win at all cost. This is a very important match for us,” Nkana striker Ronald Kampamba said.

Ahly deputy coach and ex-Pharaoh star Wael Gomaa said beating Nkana in Wusakile will not be an easy task.

Ahly need a draw against Nkana to book their semi-finals place with a game to spare.

“We are here (in Zambia) to qualify to qualify to the semi-finals but it will not be easy to beat Nkana at their home ground,” Gomaa said.
