Ten-man bottom placed Roan United held leaders Zanaco to a 1-1 draw in a FAZ Super League Week 21 match played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on Saturday.
Roan took the lead after 24 minutes with Arthur Kaseloki heading in a Victor Kashitu cross before striker Moses Phiri equalised from the spot.
Lusaka referee Chiwoyu Sinyangwe awarded Zanaco a 31st minute penalty after Collins Nyoka handled in the box.
The first opportunity in the first half fell on Zanaco when captain Henry Banda headed slightly wide from a Fackson Kapumbu free kick.
Earlier,Kaseloki had a chance to put Roan in front but his hard shot was stopped by keeper Allan Chibwe.
Zanaco could have won the game in the second half in which in Roan defenders cleared the ball on the line twice.
Midfielder Rodrick Kabwe had two powerful shots in the 75 and 78 minutes cleared off the line by Pasmol Kangwa and Rodgers Kamwandi respectively.
Kamwandi saw straight red for using bad language against ref Sinyangwe in the 79th minute.
