Zambia defender Emmanuel Mbola scored a goal to help propel Hapoel Ra’anana to the top of the table of day one of the Israeli league table.
Ra’anana beat Hapoel Petah Tikva 4-0 in a dramatic last minute surge on Saturday night on the first day of the 2014/2015 league season.
The home side took a 1-0 halftime lead through a 24th minute goal from Snir Shoker.
Mbola made it 2-0 in the 83rd minute before his team mates Eli babayev and Mamadou Thiam added a goal each in the 88th and 90th minutes.
Evans Kangwa started the match but made way for Thiam on the hour mark.
Kangwa is on a one year loan at Ra’anana from Nkana.
Meanwhile, Ra’anana were one of two teams to win on Saturday with Hapoel Tel Aviv who are second on goal difference.
