This morning President Sata gave the much anticipated speech at the opening of the fourth session of the eleventh National Assembly.

President Michael Sata advised all Zambians to divorce partisan and personal interests from the constitution making process in order for them to ensure that they leave a credible legacy for many generations to come.

The President reported that government has received the draft constitution and is in the process of guiding the nation on the next course of action.

He stressed that government remains committed to promoting democracy and good governance which he said were fundamental to creating, securing and maintaining a just Zambia.

Mr. Sata said this was why government embarked on a review of the country’s legal and justice system, which began with the constitution.

And President Sata said the prevalence of gender based violence (GBV) is unacceptable, adding that child pregnancies and early marriages remain a challenge in the country.

He said government will continue to put in place stringent measures to protect women and children from all forms of abuse.

He said government has appointed and maintained a high number of women in leadership and decision making positions to ensure gender equity in the development process.

The President has since encouraged the womenfolk to stand up and be counted, saying there was still room for their participation in the leadership of the country.

Meanwhile, the Head of State disclosed that all the 32 newly created districts have now been fully operationalized.

He said the construction of infrastructure has started in five of the districts, including the upgrading of infrastructure in Choma and Chinsali as new provincial headquarters of Southern and Muchinga provinces respectively.

Mr. Sata added that construction of district offices and other infrastructure in the remaining 27 districts will commence before the end of the year.

He said government remains committed to improving the standard of living of the people in rural areas by accelerating service delivery.

  1. Let Sata rest please.Aren’t there young Zambians who can run this country? Presidency clearly hasn’t done his health well. This government is a circus.

    • His voice sounds strong , what is expected of him anytime in his life

Just because he sounds different doesn’t mean he is unwell

” Even if you put a cat in the oven and bake it, it wont become a biscuit”

He is the same man, same voice, no story here

Anyone advocating and judging him by this sounds clip risk being prosecuted, be very very careful people

      Thanks

    • @Ndobo, wait a second I look for headphone, this office is full of….
How is the voice, tell me man, tell me, this is not football not to tell goals. Ok ok who tell here can I ask for heard phones? Maybe Ms. Linda.

    • I have always said that, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, definitely its a duck.
Only a insane people can believe that Sata is “fit and healthy” because they are incapacitated by delirious delusions’ and are denial.
Seriously, any loving person can see clearly that things are not going anywhere, bad to worse. If t there is an iota of love, compassionate, care and support in PF, please let Sata Michael rest so that he enjoys his retirement whilst the charcoal is still burning.
There is no smoke without fire. Its a fact Sata collapsed and failed to finish reading parliamentary speech.
He can’t coordinate with what is required to lead 13 million of which 86% are living below a $ on daily basis.
PF is Sata and Sata is PF, and his minions are swatting him indolently…

    • @Mushota, clear evidence of an idle mind. His project has failed and is now chasing stories to keep himself sane. The magazine he started has grounded to a halt. He is now seeking favor from the PF government and is short at revealing his identity to them so they know how patriotic he is —pure hypocricy!

    • Pye pye game over ,i could not even finish the audio, Mushota , saulosi ,2020 vision and PETER please come for a meeting . jokes aside.

    • No content it that really. No content at all. Bogus. Mediocre. The people guide the constitution. Not satisfactorily enough. Sorry but a poor show.

    • Kaseba is a fo.ool chipuba?? What kind of a woman would want to embarrass the husband in this state?? Nangu kutemwa state house? Is that what she can do to the husband?? She is a medical doctor and knows the status of the husband. Chiwrlewele chakantu?!

This is how Bemba women can behave?! I chipuba. I am disgusted that she can let the husband go thru such? Why can’t she suggest for him to step down?? Fo.olish woman. Lt don’t even try to delet my message I want all Zambians to read it coz enough with Kaseba

    • kwena there is madness in zambia. umuntu namumona nokumfwa ati talibwino buti namukosapo ati alifye bwino. kanshi chaba shani bantu bandi? ifintu ifili steraight forward, eyo mulekana. iyi is typical of the emperors new clothes. all that was needed was just one mp shouting ati ba president tamuli bwino, ishiwi yenu kwati naikoma and that would have blown it all in the open. knowing ba mdala ba sata nga bachibwata spilling all the beans!!!

    • kaseba is not a woman, this is when you are realising? You should have known the moment she stole sata from mulengas mom. she was a moma pa unza looking for a sugar daddy to be buying her sugar na sopo yakusambila and today you are surprised at her behaviour!!!! te banaksahi bena kaseba. she like the choppers, planes and mercedes benzs she rides. who is sata to her?!!! pure gold digger. And in the future we dont want to read some book later where she will claim that she tried to stop the husband. we wont buy the book, because you will be looking for extra cash by selling what you think will be interesting. the time to act right is now and dont give us f.oolish stories 10-15 years from now how you tried to stop the sick president.futseki!!!

    • He will rest on his right time. we should be happy to see him coming out after a long time so let hope for the best only God know what is ahead.
Keep strong big man I am your big fan!!!

  2. you see! for a second, i thought president Sata had turned into a woman,,,
seriously,,,,, President Sata is not well,,, breathing heavily with a struggle,,,,,prayers are needed,,, and who is talking on the phone in the background????

    • @Ndobo, am so depressed and sorrowful to listen to that. Instead of laughing over those “jokes”, but I am almost bursting in crying. My left eye is dripping.
WHY WHY WHY God had to punish him to this extent? Sata is humbled.
I will praise lord from today and forever. I will never insult Sata neither Sosala.
I convinced that Lesa ni Malyotola for real.

    • Ndobo,

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, definitely its a……….?
The man is sick and PF cadres are astoundingly in denial. They are so selfish and killing Sata slowly. If they really love him, they would have thought about humanity and God.
Egocentrism is PF’s fundamental principle and the tribal clink won’t accept the philosophical realities of life.
      Pity.

    • @Nostradamus
be strong my brother,,, kosa boi uli mwaume!,,, am also trying to be strong, but Sata`s image and sound/voice is just sorrowful and sad,,,
i was just checking my sleeping bag, the one i used ku funeral ya ba Sakeni..

      @Skeleton
you right mam,,,, Sata is unwell,,,, ill is the word, and its a fact just like the earth is round,,,,,,,but of course kaponyas see things different because they live in a different world

    • awe mwebantu the man is sick. What is this talk that its because he is old and his voice projection is not as solid as it was when he was younger. this is nonsense. why then has KK’s voice still strong and powerful, even RB the age mate to ba Cobra has not lost his voice in the past 4-5 months. its still as strong as was when he was president. PF cadres, all we ask is that you just acknowledge that the man was sick and is actually recovering. Whats so hard about admitting this fact.

    • the man is sick: at 15:25 of the recording, you can even hear the wife asking him to drink water as she chuckles after saying it. Ati “Munweko, amenshi, ehehehe”. surely, a strong vibrant man even being told when to drink water? why is the tone in her voice like that of a very concerned person nursing a recovering patient. Just let the man rest. We dont hate him, but facts are facts. Zambia is bigger than Sata for us to hate him. we are just looking at our own future and that of posterity chapwa. we want what is best for zambia. A strong vibrant, healthy leader.

    • When he wanted to have a go at a lady in a hat ,kaseba is heard saying ” no ! my Husband”. I love the Cobra but not in this state.

    • Now I know why Kabimba was fired. Did anyone notice that once Kabimba was fired Sata came out of hibernation? Mr Sata whatever happened between you and Kabimba, give him a call and apologise. I say so because I feel he was the one who convinced the president to rest and only appear in public when he was fit enough. And evidently so. King cobra, my a$$. Imwe ba Kaseba with your doctorate degree you let a sick man come out in public to embarrass himself like that and gasp for air? Your license as a doctor needs to be revoked!
All you people here that are saying Sata sounds, looks and presented a coherent speech need to have your heads examined. Clearly your brains cannot process data objectively and rationally. For sure education is not a measure of intelligence!

    • Hhehehe mayo ine twalalufya aba Ba Yama. Did you hear the voice, I am mourning. Lord have mercy on us. The man need retire and rest.
Ikolonomical, bajuti. Our ikonomi is impacted of living, especially in those in Chipata.
He tried his best to crack a JOKE, but turned into “SORROWS”.

    • This audio must be recorded by guys who work in the kitchen. I could hear people in the background saying that ” Ba Mutale yakaba amenshi.”

    • @Saulosi a.ka. Osama
I am beginning to think your academic qualifications are fake. You are quack in whatever you do because you can not make proper intellectual judgment. Your papers and experiments must be held in suspicion because you are the type that kill people based on your rotten pride and belief. Your myopic reasoning reaks with muggots. For a so-called professional like yourself to deny the truth is sheer madness. You are Zambia’s Osama Bin Laden

    • Saulous,

It was good seeing Sata in public despite PF banning all private media coverage of his speech. Nevertheless, you, Mushota and all PF cadres are still living in denial. I’m sure, search for your soul, deep inside you know and can see that Sata is a sick man.
Saulous if indeed you’re human and love Sata will all your heart, face reality, admit to the fact that your leader in getting delusional. He needs help and rest now, we don’t want hide and seek anymore.
Your time of reckoning is coming soon and I wonder where you PF cadres will be, but surely, you will scamper in oblivion. We might not even see your blogging here anymore because you will scotched with reality.
The Zambian Watchdog has been vindicated. Please, let him retire peacefully.

    • Ki ki ki, i just love how i bring the worst in you. Glad i`m immune to insults and character assassination. Keep it up guys, i enjoy the show !!

    • By nature i love debates, discussions and challenges, so the more you attack and insult me the more i continue doing what i do. It is also a pressure to be on the other side of the fence. I hate joining bandwagons, i`m an independent thinker so insulting me for having an opinion different from you just shows how folly you are.

    • By nature i love debates, discussions and challenges, so the more you attack and insult me the more i continue doing what i do. It is also a pleasure to be on the other side of the fence. I hate joining bandwagons, i`m an independent thinker so insulting me for having an opinion different from you just shows how folly you are

    • @ What & Saulosi
It is his narrow-mindedness that worries some of us; his lack of augury fortitude. We know he is related to Sata, but even some of his relatives including Mulenga have succumbed to the fact that the president is unwell. How can Saulosi continue to pretend and post garbage–and he claims to belong to a profession that seeks the truth? It’s mind boggling.

  3. Any wonder the vultures within PF have for a while now been hovering around. I bet they have been sensing a bonanza in the offing. The likes of GBM, Kabimba and now the man with a big neck, Kambwili among others, have clearly been jostling for a possible take-over. Only those clinically blind, such as the morons within PF, are the ones claiming not to see what everyone is seeing!

    • @mei matungu “morons within PF” eh?? someone who wishes another a full recovery and good health is a moron..this is why I call you guys evil, which ever way you look at it you UPND sympathisers are simply evil people, you sound like another ZWD blogger or you might be wanzelu using another pseudonym because he is too embarrassed to comment after his false predictions, the deceitful sick minded cretin he is…there is no stopping PF, viva PF 2016…viva…viva His Excellency President Michael Chilufya Sata..viva….abash tribalism, abash hungry hyenas…

    • @2020vision: You may have missed how Wanzelu roasted me yesterday, or more aptly, how we roasted each other. No, I am not Wanzelu. I don’t go by “another pseudonym.” I don’t read ZWD either. I have no time for that trash. I have never spared them and for that reason, I am even blacklisted from commenting on their articles.

The point is this: If you really care for president Sata as you claim, give me one good reason why you want him subjected to this kind of hostile public spotlight; at such a critical time as this, when he is fighting for his life? Further, do you suppose it was unwise for late president of S. Africa, Nelson Mandela to retire after only one term in office considering what he had been through on Robin Island; were it not for his failing health?

    • Okay if you are not wanzelu then I do apologise, as for the question of retirement that decision is no one else’s but the President not even his inner circle of top govt officials has a constitutional mandate to discuss that officially. I and we care very much about our President, he has a very good heart and has forgiven so many people that said and did terrible things to him and did him wrong, which other President has done so much to honour KK, which other President with all honesty really has allowed the opposition so many freedoms that they abuse those every freedoms to wish him death and say the worst things imaginable at their rallies. We love him and believe he will fully recover, just as we believed he was not dead when these UPND satanists said otherwise.

    • @2020vision: I wonder you are saying: “..if you are not wanzelu..” Are you still not convinced that I am not Wanzelu? Here is the deal though. We all love president Sata. I personally want him to enjoy his presidency. I know how hard he had to work to get to plot one. I admire him as a politician.

A couple of days ago, I went on record when I said: “Old politicians in Zambia, the likes of Vernon Mwaanga, Michael Sata and Daniel Munkombwe seem to understand politics better than the new generation.” You can check all my postings with LT directly. The point is, would I have said what I said about Mr. Sata if I really hate him? Couldn’t I have substituted him with another politician? I just happen not to be a cadre. That’s why I do criticize him too when I need to.

    • @2020vision: As regards the decision to retire, I agree with you that, that is his prerogative of course. I have no problem with that. The problem I have is that of you cadres who are jumping around singing that the president is in perfect health when we know that the opposite is true. You are being cruel, not to yourselves, not to the public, but to him. If he is sick, then he is sick. The public deserves to be told the truth.

  4. Listening to this speech makes one sad that we have such a president for a supposedly great country like Zambia. On such an important occasion how does a normal human give such a speech? This is not the Sata GRZ has been claiming is fit and working hard. He sounds more like a kid or a very ill man making very silly and pathetic jokes. What a shame.

    • Glad you are weighing in. I share your view and concern. There appears to be craziness out there that betrays reason. People like Wanzelu and a few others, who have been trying to highlight their concern regarding this very issue, are derided, ridiculed, stereotyped and hated by people who purport to “love” the president. Where on earth may one expect to see this kind of nonsense?

    • Just imagine?! And the likes of Saulous, Mushota endorsed PF cadres are busy grinning in aye.
Very childish and sickening how a man holding the presidential office jostled jokes in Parliament instead of following the instructions of delivering his speech. He would have finished it, but misused the last left oxygen for unpalatable jokes.
      Shocking !

  5. Its actually PF members who are killing Sata. If Sata surrounded himself with sensible people by now man would be recuperating and resting somewhere.

    • @blago its actually you and your fellow UPND cadres that wished HEMCS death, here on this site the records do not lie so dont try to be funny young man useless animal that you are, its us the pro PF bloggers that have prayed and defended our President whilst you devil worshippers said the worst things that even I would never even dare say against your thieving and devil worshipping HH. Useless cretin.

    • @2020vision: You are nuts. Who on earth and in their right mind would ‘wish” the president dead? Are you that crazy? Please stop this nonsense. The concern of the people is that the president is sick. Take it or leave it. We all, at one time or another, get sick. The time when one is sick is not the time to pretend that you are not sick. On the contrary, Mr. Sata has been doing just that.

The time when one is sick is not the time to “work hard.” PF has been reassuring the nation that the president is not sick and is following his normal work schedule. This is utter rubbish. The point is, you guys who are pushing him to appear normal and working; are the ones who are pushing him out of his comfort zone as a sick man. In essence you are killing him by so doing.

    • @mei matangu i think you arent a regular on this site, had you been reading the posts a few months ago you wouldnt be saying that…look up past post on winter kabimba and HH exchanging words and you will find comments from dudelove, wanzelu, 142, ndobo and others where they explicitly and clearly wish death on HEMCS…the beauty of this site is all blogs are kept on record..

    • @2020vision that is correct I think LT keeps all the comments. ZWD quickly erases anything they publish after a few days out of cowardice (although they don’t realise that it is being logged by various other parties so they are actually wasting their time deleting it)

    • @ 2020vision: Not being “regular on this site” is besides the point. At least you know who said what and when. LT also has a permanent record of that, just in case additional confirmation is needed.

Notwithstanding, I see you fighting people who are not concerned with what Wanzelu said. Not too long ago, you lambasted me with all sorts of insults, insisting that I was Wanzelu myself. Why don’t you take me for what I say and challenge me on that? Do I have to be made to take on Wanzelu’s identity in order for you to challenge me on my postings?

    • @2020vision: Besides, doesn’t the flag behind “Mei Matungu” tell you that I am not a U.K. resident, where Wanzelu usually posts from? I see little basis or justification for your attack on me.

  6. From todays pictures and audio a trip abroad to ‘woo investors’ is about to take place. It’s been 90 days since the last one.

    • Travel arrangements:
      1. From Lusaka to Dubai with Challenger;
      2. Short 4-5 days to discuss with investors in Medical City in Dubai;
      3. From Dubai to New York with Emirates A380;
      4. Holding private meeting with Obama to discuss how PF can help in the war with ISIS;
      5. Private meeting in the WHO to give advise on how to combat Ebola;
      6. Advising IMF on the subject of increasing Lending Rates to at least 30% to help recovery of the World economy……………..

Very busy schedule for one of the most recognized and respected Statesman!!!

  7. @Nostradamus I can see that you can’t believe it that Sata is doing fine. You are in deep shock together with you friend Wnzelu who LIED that Sata died in June. You two are idio.ts. Sata cracked jokes and if you didn’t like the jokes, I could hear the MPs laughing. God has a final say on everyone’s life. You wishes are not God’s wishes. PF has done wonders than all MMD’s 20 years. I don’t mind a president who rarely appears in public but develops the nation than the having an eloquent president whose work done is 0 or 0.1%.

    • @mei matungu for a while there I thought you were a reasonable minded person after reading your other comments and the way you just rush into arguments without knowing the background between the belligerents, well I think here is a little of your own… I think its safe to put you in the category of mentally ensalved diasporans that don’t know what the hell they are on about..please follow what your American congress or what the US Senate is doing and leave Zambian issues to Zambians that live with the people and know the sufferings of the people because we are the people not you pretenders that just cause trouble in Zambia and then want to run away to your stinking holes abroad where you pretend to be ‘living large’..ba swine imwe

    • @2020vision: I wonder if you really know what 2020 vision means? You will do better not to continue exposing more of yourself this way. I really feel sorry for you.

  8. A total disgrace to our Country Zambia. The damage to our image internationally is huge. No credible investor, Zambian or foreign, large or small, can honestly say they feel encouraged or assured by this opening of Parliament. As a result, job creation will remain a mirage in our Country. This is shameful.

    • Hard to fathom where all this is leading to. Finally a frail looking president whom they, all along been claiming is fine and well, shows up to give a crap of a speech.

    • Cactus,
I totally agree with you. Finally came the day after which the people have witnessed that Sata is frail and can’t continue to lead 13 million people.
Anyway, its seems to me that, it is the opposition who truly love and care about Sata’s well being.
Imagine, we are feeling sorry seeing the entire president Sick but the “murderers” are in fact PF because they want him to continue until he drops out. It the second “sign” of Sata fainting. Next it will be historic if these PF charlatans’ pressurize him to continue when in fact has lambently failed to comply with the rule of law.
      Stupendous observation.

    • Still worshiping the international stage/community or whatever? Yaba!
Investor are profit seeking baba. If they can invest in peace deprived Congo, Zambia is still paradise, the ailing President notwithstanding.

  9. This is a voice of a frail very sick dying old man whose jokes are incoherent…I couldn’t even stand listening to 5 mins of that…surely Zambians we can do better than have an impotent figure head. If this was my relative I would have pleaded with them to step down.
19/09/2014 has just reinforced what I was stating before Sata is a deadwood in no position to run day to day affairs of this country.
Zambians this is a very sick person…even the ever noisy parliament sounded like a library as the MPs couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
Zambians wake up from your docility your are paying a sick man your hardearned PAYE to sleep in bed all day.
    May Sata RIP!!

    • I doubt them waking up from their slumber. Zambians don’t know what they doing to their future generations. Currently statistics indicate that Zambia is now the poorest country in the world, and malnutrition levels are at a staggering 86% respectively(UNDP Report, 2014: HDI, 2014).
I wouldn’t be surprised if they elected Judge Ngoma unleashed to the president of Zambia in 2016.
Majority of Zambians are uneducated and high heels of primitivism whilst not take life seriously.

    • @Skeleton
We have already wasted the whole year because of this Sata issue…in the interest of national development this old man should step down. He has achieved his ambition on being a president…its a quite an achievement given that this man was a colonial constable.
I for one I can not put myself to listen to more than 5 minutes of audio clip as it very disturbing as its evidently clear this old man needs his time to rest and enjoy his little time on earth with his countless children.
Like I stated before that 19/09/2014 our president will be exposed!!

    • Jay Jay,

I’m really disappointed with Dr Kaseba and the entire PF for embarrassing Mr Sata like this and for the entire world to see. Seriously I’m shocked.
Honestly speaking, I have known Mr Sata 30 years ago, and I agree with everything you have said above, especially the being president achievement.
They have “control” of Sata because of their selfish reasons of amassing riches at the expense and vulnerable Zambians.
Yes, he’s not perfect, neither me, you and everybody but this one ridicule of Mr Sata MUST STOP now, if they truly humanely and Godly love him, as we do.
They also must not forget that, the eyes of God are seeing everything and time of their reckoning is coming soon.
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, definitely its a duck. Therefore Sata must…

  10. Sata should let go. Your health should come first unless you have given up. Zambia will always be there. Those crocodile laughs are fake and only waiting for your demise. We are in serious trouble.

    • @mei matungu well if you aren’t wanzelu you must be one of his most stupid disciples so what does that make you mei matungu an !diot that emerges when another !diot leaves what a coincidence, they type of coincidence a deceitful ZWD coward like wanzelu would craft.. or you are disciple of another !diot that has been proven on this site to be a deceitful liar and has clearly committed several crimes one of which was the false statement on the death of HEMCS. Fact! So continue to live in denial you fake mei matungu or wanzelu or whatever you are you are nothing but the devil’s tool and the devil is a thief and a liar..

    • @The One: Funny how you think I am a “chipuba,” when actually it is you who is a CHIPUBA! My apologies. That is not the language I am used to. But I think you are a CHIPUBA because, had you even a tiny bit of brain, you would have asked me to clarify what I meant when I said that “Wanzelu has been vindicated.”

That you find it justifiable for you to call me a CHIPUBA, before affording me the opportunity to clarify myself, is proof enough that you are a zombie. I have no time to debate issues with jugheads like you. It was yesterday when Wanzelu said that: “Let’s wait and see if Sata will be able to complete his speech.” As at now, the written speech and the spoken one are different. The president couldn’t present his whole speech. For that Wanzelu is vindicated.

    • @2020vision: I did have some respect for you previously. But now I can see that you are not worth any. You are a Chainama case, I am afraid. Otherwise, what basis do you have to ascribe to me all those innumerably ugly adjectives? And do you think they will stick on me even when you do?

You could at least have brought a clear complaint against me as basis for your anger. But you haven’t. Your posting is devoid of any facts. Nor can I say that you haven’t been to school. You are able to spell even a difficult word like “coincidence.” That tells me you are fairly educated. Your problems as I can tell is mental sickness. Unfortunately, I am not a psychiatrist. I could have helped you. Too bad. I have neither time nor room for crazy people like you.

    • Wanzelu said he died in June. ZWD also said so. Now you are saying they have been vindicated? Don’t you even have any policy arguments? Even an orangoutan will win the next election, even if it’s tomorrow, compared to these rubbish strategies of HH and RB’s minions. Argue the points, people, campaign! Don’t just sit on the internet and say people are sick, because you won’t win that way. You will remain irrelevant for ever

    • @Mei Matungu, tell me if Wnzelu never posted perhaps hundreds of comments saying Sata died in June? If you defend Wnzelu, then you are foo.l trying to defend the undefendable.

    • @Clutchplate Banda: Wanzelu posts regularly here on LT. You are referring to a June posting of his, which I never even got to see or hear about. I was referring to a posting of his from yesterday. Your insults of me are based on a false assumption that I was referring to Wanzelu’s June posting. Are you no able to discern a fallacy there, more especially that you can go to the extent of insulting me the way you have done?

Were you a normal human being, your very own conscience would have convinced you to apologize to me. If anything, I have high regard for President Sata and do very often speak positively of him. Just yesterday, Wanzelu was chiding me for that. The point is Mr. Sata is public property, not yours alone.

    • @The One: It’s clear you have a score to settle with Wanzelu for his June postings, which I hardly condone. I took on him yesterday. He was accusing me of being a sympathizer and supporter of president Sata. I told him that I was an independent. I support whoever is doing well, Mr. Sata included.

The problem you PF cadres have is that you think that everyone who is posting on LT falls in one camp or the other. That is not the case with some of us. I have, on occasion praised PF when they did well, like their recent winning of 4 out of 6 by-elections. I have also criticized UPND for their seeming tribalism. Unfortunately, for you cadres, you behave like dogs that wag their tails to their masters and bite anybody else. I am not a cadre of any party.

  11. I am almost crying. This is not the Sata I know who talks forcefully. He is struggling. We wish him continued and improved health.

    • At a moment as this one, crying is a worthy emotion. It bespeaks how cruel PF have been to the president. They are using him so that they can ride and stay in power themselves. Otherwise, what will it profit a person if he should own the whole world and yet lose his own soul? Mr. Sata deserves rest.

    • This is an old man who is 76 yrs old and was a reckless 10 pack a day chain smoker and had countless concubines dotted all over the country…this man has lived the life …you can pray for him in your church this Sunday if you wish!!

  12. THINGS ARE NOT OKAY AND THE BIG MAN NEED TO REST FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER SIX MONTHS IN HIBERNATION. PLEASE CHELLAR YOU ARE THE STATE HOUSE MONTH PEACE AND WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DELEGATE THE DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT.

  13. You don’t need to meet Sata in person to know that our president is sick, his voice says it all.
Let us not have the situation of Mwanawasa (R.I.P). If he loves his country and above all his health, Sata should do the needful. Amen

  14. Hmm that accent seems a bit different as if from Eastern province or even Zimbabwe somewhere… Need to analyse the source of this clip since it may be a “photoshop” from ZWD or similar rotten traitors who have already maliciously announced death months ago

  15. That is merely the voice of an aging but brilliant leader. Sata has enough fight in him to go up to 2021 so keep dreaming all hating people spreading messages of doom. UPND since when in Zambia do we take joy in spreading falsehood relating to the health of a leader? Take this as a learning point, the cobra is well. Sell your own manifestos and stop looking for the death of others as a way of rising to power. Is it true you people poisoned Mazoka? Such bad seeds. Real evil people.

  16. Sata sounds clueless and lost much more than the visionless and unconvincing yes campaign of the Scottish referendum.Time to secede from this hopeless kolwestan.

  17. I have just listened to the audio clip, is this what the country has been waiting for? I somehow feel sorry for him. Still masking his poor speech delivery with silly jokes, there is no change there. But the man doesn’t sound well, he needs rest but not at the expense of Zambians. Those around him including his wife seem to be edging him on, which is pure greed.

  18. The President has abrogated the constitution. He did NOT open the session of Parliament legally. I think the Law Association of Zambia should take this up. This man has belittled the Parliament and brought it into disrepute. He may be healthy or ill, that is not the point. The point is that this is the House of Laws and if it cannot keep its laws, then Zambia is most to be pitied. He can be funny if he wants to, but he MUST follow procedure.

  19. @Mei Matungu…….your postings r worthy reading God bless you, I ve really ENJOY them.

Zambia need such patriotic ‘Big Brains’.

To all those accusing Wanzelu get the facts STRAIGHT, Wanzelu he has NEVER lied!!. Its true Sata was half dead in June !!
Its DIFFICULT TO DEFEND SATA at this time…..WHY banning all media houses frm covering ths event and WHY only AUDIO ?

    • @anderson chisala you and your wanzelu undercover are just bitter people, after so many insults directed at HEMCS you dare to lie again that wanzelu was right, are you both mentally retarded?? Obviously you both are numbskulls with little grey matter between your ears, anderson your boss wanzelu is on record of saying the President died in June and later said the person appearing as President was an imposter wearing a rubber mask (what a dreamer), you know he said it and you pretending like he never did just shows why you !diots and your tribal gathering of stinking rabid diseased hyenas called UPND will never ascend to power, childish behaviour typical of an under 5 leader is clearly at work and seems to have spread to his daft minions. Get an education you educated f00ls.

  20. Only people with no brains can come and support Sata’s speak as ok or the man himself as being ok. Sata is no longer to hold the highest office in the land and he should step down to rest and enjoy his retirement. If he failed to read the written speach for him, how can he really govern the country?

  21. So the circus was finally in town performing live at parliament.however instead of being hilarious it was a sad act.that mascot belongs in a hospice instead of strutting around playing president.not even a failed state like the Drc can have a man with diminished capacity presiding over the affairs of the state.it was fun seeing all the praise singers and other court jesters ululating at the emperor without his clothes.the opposition looked solemn while the govt struggled to keep a straight face with no success…..He should step down on account of ill health instead of clinging on to office.yesterday was a sad day for that great country…

  22. Fellow countrymen and women jokes and partisan innuendos aside, this man is too ill to continue as president because his dementia is too high. He needs to be helped to live a bit longer by asking him to step down. How would you, as a nation, pride yourselves in a dilapidated man just because you ‘re feeding out of his name? God have mercy on us. Iyee twasebana. How is the international community looking at us seeing a president with a cancerous voice spend half of his time babbling with things unrelated to the opening of parliament? Ba mayo ba Kaseba twapapata bafweni ba tata tabalingile ukalamonekela kubantu in this way.

  23. To ZWD and UPND trouble makers that is wanzelu and company

You lied that the President died in June- he appeared to drum up support at the bye elections

You lied that the President would not open Parliament – he opened Parliament yesterday

You falsely and outright stupidly as true to your character predicted a majority victory in all the just ended bye elections- your party UPND only won ONE (1) seat out of 6

Today you pretend be concerned by saying HEMCS is ill and should resign, what hypocrites and satanists you are, not one of you have wished him a full recovery from his recent illness so that he can regain full strength instead you just wish him to resign, sorry to disappoint you cretins but OUR President is going to fully recover and put you devil worshipers to shame…

  24. How do you have a nation where the Republican President is censored during a live broadcast by Parliament Radio? How do you have a nation where all journalists except state media are banned from covering the president during the most anticipated day of this presidency? How can people in the ruling party be defending this absurdity befalling us? Where is the opposition? Where is Civil Society? Where are the youth in all this? We have a bunch of selfish people pushing the president to stay in office even when he is clearly not well just to protect their stupid jobs, as if they did not exist before being appointed. When will we ever get out of this political mess that was caused by people not thinking critically enough but instead voting based on excitement? Cntn…..

  25. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.THIS SATA IS THE ONE
WHO TOOK PLEASURE IN INSULTING OUR GREAT LEADER LATE ADERSON MAZOKA
THAT THE UPND LEADER HAD HIV/AIDS.NOW LOOK AT SATA HIS TROUSERS
ARE ALSO FAILING TO HOLD HIS WAIST.HAHAHAHAHA.LET ME HAVE THE LAST
    LAUGH.HAHAHAHAHA.KWEKWEKWE.SWESWESWE.CHOCHOCHO

  26. @Mei Matungu and @ Wanzelu @ZWD

There is little difference between them…..they are all !diots. The former belong to same publication.

    @Bo MUNYENGE MUNYENGE

The difference is that Anderson Mazoka was a confirmed case of HIV, HNCS is not. The shedding offs of some mass like I have done on the advice of a doctor, the first lady does not in any way imply that I am unwell .

    • @ LUAPULA WANKER

Please use female condom before opening your mouth. It is safer for normal people who are making civilized comments. As to “shedding offs of some mass like I have done on the advice of a doctor” you should have not undergone lobotomy.

    • @LUAPULA PREMIER: I wonder how LT is allowing even fishermen from Lake Bangweulu to blog on their site. I can see you had a poor catch last night. Please be mindful that insulting others, while acceptable out there on the lake, is totally unacceptable here.

  27. Mei Matungu, Saulos, Dobo, Kudos, Luapula Wanker etc
Wanzelu should be commended for his selflessness fight to let the public see president Sata and his effort has borne fruit of parliament opened by Sata. Wanzelu never held a view that Sata died in june. This was at the pick of Sata’s absence and speculation was that he may have died. This is different from stating that he has died.
Imagine Mr Sata is dinied entry in USA on account that he looks like a patient of Ebola, who would accuse USA of fimo fimo.

    • There appears to be a strong sentiment that Wanzelu did in fact make such a claim; and for that some PF zealots are relentlessly on the hunt for him, at least to pin him on the wall for the wrong assertion he is purported to have made.

  28. Notwithstanding the vultures around him (including his own wife) who keep egging him to continue in office despite all evidence pointing to the fact that he is mentally and physically wasted, doesn’t this man love himself sufficiently to want to preserve his own life? The man seems to want to go on until he just collapses. Levy worked himself to death but at least he did it for the love of his country unlike this lying impostor.

  29. Does the house always laugh like monkeys at every dry joke?

    F*ckwell Shamenda.

And we wonder why we are poor.

    #ThisIsWhyWeArePoor
    #OneZambia

  30. Zambians are my in-laws. As an outsider, I wish your country well. However, it is troubling that your country does not have effective mechanisms to compel an ailing President to take a rest or step down.
There must be other (competent) Zambians to take over the leadership mentle. It is embarrassing, disgraceful perhaps even criminal for the President’s advisors/ ruling party governance structures to nurture conditions that do irreparable damage to an old person as your president. Reverse this and imagine for a second this Present was a child. (His current health status places him to some extent in this category). This seeming negligence, recklessness and irrationality potentially exposes these presidental advisors to the criminal charge of attempted murder or “Child”…

  31. We need jobs we schools leavers.that’s y you are seen there is a lot of violence and the lyk be cause the government can not support school levers.so we were learning school which has no impact, my the government plz come up with job creation for school levers otherwise this government will be chackd out.be koz I gave a vote to this party BT its nothing doing. I rest my complaints.
