Zambia are back home from Niger ahead of Wednesday’s final leg Group F qualifier against opponents from the Sahel.
Honour Janza’s sides returns from Niamey just hours after firing blanks on Saturday night against Niger in a 0-0 draw.
Zambia landed at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola on a charter flight just after 06h00 on Sunday morning.
The team later drove to Mukuka Hotel in Ndola where they will be camped and for a days rest before resuming full training on Monday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Zambia will host Niger at Levy Mwanawasa in an 18h00 kickoff on October 15.
…..AND Four blind people have criticized H Janza for failing to see what they could SEE in the ZAMBIA national team’s blunt striking force against Niger…..They said SUBSTITUTION WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MADE HALF WAY THE GAME AND ZAMBIA WAS SURELY GOING TO COLLECT THE MUCH NEEDED 3 POINTS. THEY FURTHER QUESTIONED WHETHER JANZA WAS BLIND OR SHORT SIGHTED FOR HIM NOT TO SEE THE FLOW of the game?? its better we go for BLIND coach, than having a looking but dead coach.
AND THE PSYCHOLOGIST Says: IF THE BLIND CAN SEE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THEIR NAKED EYES , THEN HE WHO IS NOT BLIND BUT CANT SEE WITH HIS NAKED EYES, IS DEAD!!!!
They are OUT. No Need to Cry over that Rubbish team, it is below any expectations. They are useless. The whole FAZ and the national team should be overhauled. Kalusha should let Go. We need New Blood. Actually you don’t have to be a former footballer to run FAZ. We need strategists’ not dull leadership.
@ THE PRINCE
THAT’S WAY TO GO…YOU LOYAL PRINCE. ITS ALL CHANGING. ZAMBIA IS VERY BIG AND HAVE SO MANY TALENTED AND QUALIFIED PEOPLE TO PARTAKE IN FOOTBALL ACTIVITIES…
FIRE EVERYONE!!!!!! we need new blood and fresh brains
Nigeria, Camerron and Egypt did not qualify in 2012. Do we always have to qualify. Awe you lose some as well. If we don’t qualify it’s not the end of the world. What is the panic.
@Wisest: Life is not about falling in the category of failures. If the Cameroonians and Egyptians failed does not give we Zambians the satisfaction of not achieving our objectives. What is the point of wasting tax Payers money to fly all over for failed results? As well we would just not participate. Facts are that we are a Big team in Africa when it comes to football and should play to that expectation. NOT GOOD TO ASSOCIATE OUR COUNTRY WITH FAILURE.
Ulibe vokamba.
When you console yourself like this you are set to live with failure throughout your life.
“We dont fail because others have failed. We succeed because others have succeeded.” Zambian Citizen in SA- 2014
You must be the bigest fool after Janza to think that losing is not the end of the world, look at how far we ve come and even how much money goes in FAZ from tax payers money, These *****s at FAZ must be serious and for once stop this nonsense of apiontg fellow *****s for a coin. This all points to the Technical bench, I mean we ve a lot of talented players why not use them, even better local coaches with track records not this muzungu without a reference nor football achievement. Janza must go
Its actually good if we don’t qualify. Maybe then we can have clueless Hpnour fired. This will also give us chance to overhaul the team for the future. Algeria overhauled their team just last year and see how they are performing, now whilst we are stuck to the same old tired legs.
They still have chance to qualify if they win the rest of the games two at home and one away to in Mozambique. 2+9=11
Ekulanda uku. Note these prophets of doom.
Open advice to the coaching bench.
Wednesday is just 2 days away..so plz organise a best copperbelt select team Choose players from Zesco united ,Nkana,Nchanga rangers,KMP,Power dynamos and Roan united to play a warm up game with the National team say on Monday afternoon. Then you can gauge the best players to feature in the return match against Niger.
ekulanda uuku BA YEBO….
Yebo I think even Mighty would do better than Chipolopolo in AFCON..lol Okay but seriously I have seen those National assembly boys playing on Supersport and they are a delight. Lets allow them to represent Zambia on Wednesday
We are back to using the word : IF” bla bla..etc ok we are used now. If we win on wednesday and hope mozambique beats CAPE VERDE AGAIN SO THAT MOZAMBIQUE IS ON TOP, Its easy for us to deal with CAPE VERDE AT HOME , NOW assuming mozambiqe wins in Niger again to topple the group, Good for us because the final game will be in Mozambique so we hope the mambas by that time only play to fulfil the fixture , already qualified in that case they wont feature a strong side with alot “COBRA’s in it
Iwe anyoko you have torn me at the sides! Kikikikikikikikikiki!!
Dead end team…..time to rebuild just like what South Africa and Senegal did…….Surely we are still depending on Chamanga and Mayuka? How can we score?
It is better we do not qualify. How do you explain a team with 80% ball possession and without a single short at goal. This is the price we pay for allowing dull illiterate players whose ambition ends just by wearing the zambian jersey. How do you explain a team that passes the ball to the opponents more times than to itself . The commentator even said “zambia is guilty of easily losing the ball to the opponents”
Next time we have to have unwritten rules or elligibility criteria that any one below Grade 12 education should not be selected bcoz we cant seperate school from sports just look at USA
I totally agree with you, National team selection should be based upon education. No one should be selected if they did not go to college. The problem with Zambian players is the love for “muti” I have a friend who is a friend to Katongo and told me what these *****s do. They get muti from which Doctors, which makes the couch to have no say but pick the remnants from well talented players. It’s really sad ideed. Most of these players, are grade seven faillures, they can’t communicate effectively among themselves on the pitch. Rubbish
Its not the players Gabbie. Its the coach. Give the same players to another coach and you will see the difference
How many times have I told you that you are not going ANYWHERE, as long as you have a corrupt entity in that name of Galu, he will think of his personal interests first before you Zombies…here is a FA that can not even afford to charter it own plane always relying on taxpayers in this day and age. Your Kalu was a GREAT FOOTBALLER but he is too corrupt and not equipped to be an administrator….there is a reason why Pele is an Ambassador and not a Football administrator as some people do not have the savvy brains to administer.
FAZ is merely a gravy train for these people without FAZ they are NOTHING!!
Football Zombies wake up and discuss with sober minds not in beer gardens after 6 mosi …wake up!!
Football Zombies wake up and discuss football with sober minds not in beer gardens after 6 mosi …wake up!!
@ Jay Jay: True, winning is about strategy, not what that Galu Nonsense has brought to the Zambian football. It is sad to see how we get such a rubbish team when we have real talent in Zambia. Katongo and whole old gang should be out as well. so stu.pid that coming in the game, he is interested in being a captain?? what the hell?? why can’t young ones also be. It shows the caliber of players we have.
It’s true that Chamanga bribes coaches with heft cash so that he’s featured in a team. HJ is not exceptional.
Anybody who follows local league could have agreed that the striking force of Chamanga and Kungulume was blunt. The likes of Sate Sate, Kangwa, Ngo’nga, Mukuka Mulenga, Mayuka, Yakobo Mulenga could have changed score board. But coach HJ has no game plan at all. What a useless coach I have seen to handle a national team.
Apa solution ni fire him period. Let George Chicken Lwandamina and Simukonda be interim care takers with a Dan boy since “umunani taulalungula sana”. Ba Kalu fire HJ, you’re good at that.
Fire HJ period and let george chicken Lwandamina and Simukonda be care takers asap before Wednesday game. I’ve seen a lot of s.h.i.t from HJ. If not then expect a peaceful protest on Monday from City market , Nkolima station and Chawama.
PS……
Macky-2 looks like Henry Cele (Shaka Zulu).
The guys doesn’t drink but he need ka-dobbo.
Will join you in the toyi toyi. Thats what we call protests here where I now live
Can we use the under 17 to give them much exposure needed.guess that’s team we should be looking at.this is one of the weakest groups and I don’t see qualifiers in this group going far, not even cape verde.we must accept it’s one of the weakest teams we v assembled.
True very very very true
Janza is the most USE-LESS coach I have seen. We have good players to win games and top the group. But this coach has not tactical plan to get the work done. Fire him.
ABILITY TO PLAY FOOTBALL IS A GOD-GIVEN TALENT WHICH CAN BE NURTURED BY GOOD TRAINING AND PRACTICE .TO SUGGEST THAT GOING TO COLLEGE OR ATTAINING GRADE 12 IS A MUST FOR NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION IS NOT ONLY MYOPIC BUT AN INSULT TO THE MANY TALENTED PLAYERS WHO HAVE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND SUCH LOFTY INSTITUTIONS. WE NEED PROUD HARD WORKING ZAMBIANS FOR THE TEAM NOT EINSTEINS .ALL THE BEST TO ZAMBIA ON WEDNESDAY!
Do you now believe what I had told you from the beginning. I don’t need to be a FIFA approved analyst to see that Zambia was doomed from the first match.
HJ is clueless period!
We need an expatriate coach. Swallow your pride Zambians. Russia and many other European countries are being managed by expatriate coaches.
Coach has no vision. Why not give chance to up coming players in the local league? We have likes of Patson Daka,Larry Bwalya,Spencer Sautu,Seth Sakala,Charles Zulu,Alex Ng’onga.Make a combination of U-17 and U-20 Strikes forces as strikers. These Professionals have tired legs and all what they think about is money not achieving results for the Country. We lost composure on these AFCON Qualifiers when we lost to CAPE VERDE.Professionals are just coming to spoils our football. Why not try EAST AFRICAN FOOTBALL system?Kick and run whereby from Goalkeeper to D-Zone then through scrambling one player might handle in the penalty area and a goal can be scored. We are not scoring.Ba National Team LEKENI UMUTI…What are you achieving?
Chartered plane always delay…why?Stop corruption FAZ!WHO IS WHO?
The Team needs a complete overhaul, starting with the Bench. why is it that the players like N’Gonga, musakanya, Kangwa, sate sate, Jacob mwanza are not considered Please Janza wake up, you have failed us.
Those players are not old to be replaced on that basis! They are simply stupidly lacking stamina for quick response to the task. Wen the ball is in the oponent’s circle these players leave the strikers alone who are tightly marked by tall defenders, the rest remain standing in centre circle! Poor responses abound to lack of speed, fullbacks and any other player can score. These Players, without exclusive determination/fighting spirit are a let down like puppets.
