    • Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
      That, we still are.

Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
      which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

      Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
      that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
      There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?

    • I am but waiting for you.
      For an interval.
      Somewhere. Very near.
      Just around the corner.

      All is well.

Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before only better, infinitely happier and forever we will all be one together with Christ

      Thanks

    • Who is that brown-gold always with Muka Yama Kaseba? She was on plane, and today.
And the Kaseba’s hot body guide today disclosed herself, she is a ZAF officer?

    • How do you pray for the dead @ Nostradamus? Educate people in this Christian Nation not glamourise death for the dead know nothing! • awe shuwa, the man was finished, his face looking that mummified, shuwa, as if he died one million years ago!!,,, people who were forcing him to work were cruel!!

anso! on the other side, there must be milandu,,, FTJ, Mwanawasa A.K.A cabbage, George Kunda A.K.A red lips, Penza, Paul Tembo,,,yayaya,,,, receiving Sata, sivintu!

    • But Zambians you are crazy I have never laughed so hard at the same time felt sorrowful over someone’s death as I have with you guys……… @ Ndobo, am pretty sure you have consumed free booze at the funeral house(Plot one)
The other day tried to check out one Komedy Blog site known as Tumfweko, awa sure one Guy’s article made me cry a River with laughter as he wrote over why Eddie should be given a chance and specifically singled out HH not to stand for the forth coming Elections. But you are crazy nowonder you are peaceful!
      Anyways, Safe journey the MCs!

    • Good riddance

God has given the people of Zambia a golden jubilee gift to reverse the mistake they made in 2011

Died a thug and a lie… i hope you are now answering to your creator.

    • @ Mushota, watching some old clips of the late HE MCS’s political life on TV has brought me to a clear understanding as to why you’ve kept insisting he’s not died. I reckon immortality can only follow one’s departure from the physical body. For MCS it should also be due to the many good seeds he’s sowed in fertile ground. That a man can exude more immortality in their death bed is what gives me a profound hope that is hard to describe. Thanks Mushota for your insight.

    • @One Wonder: I love ECCLESIASTES, its all about human life, I always wanted to revise it, to include the life on internet.
That damnt book starts with: “Meaning less meaning less, everything is meaning less”..
I question myself: what the hell… is Sata’s death meangless too?

    • @Nostradamus, the brown-gold is Mirriam Kaseba ‘Mulenga’ her immediate young sister and now Zambia’s Ambassador to Turkey.

    • @ ndobo and @ Cindy?? You people are funny?? his face looking that mummified?? Ba Kaseba should not cry? Actually she should be questioned by Sata’s Family after the burial.

Shame, The man s really finished. He looks like he has been in death for over a Year?? No wonder some people were collapsing. 11th is too far why trouble him. Let them just burry him today?? M.H.S.R.I.P he suffered just to make the Wife and Crazy son Mulenga Happy. What charm is in state house that change people to become so selfish??

  1. King cobra, gone just like watching a movie. How the mighty and strong men fall. At the end of it all, life becomes meaningless says KING SOLOMON. Riches, fame, education, ……….are all meaningless especially if you lived life without CHRIST. For Micheal, hope to meet on that resurrection morning when death will be mocked, where is your victory? where is your sting?

    • I am about to go to church in 2 hours. I will print one picture I will not disclose to you, and give my priest to pray for Ba Sata.
      The man entertained us.

    • @Ndobo, why are you thinking like Field Ruwe, Kabimba and the likes?
It is so sad that I hang-out with unforgiving people like Ndobo.
I think people wonders that WHY Ba Nostra get along with so many people including Ndobo. And how come Ndobo was once a campaign manager for Nostradamus just before Ba Sata left the earth (body still around).

  2. Despite his body being decorated from the time he died in New York,he doesn’t look better than me. Who has no money.Levy Mwanawasa welcome the guy.How I wish he was your neighbor ku manda.

    • Mwanawasa is upstairs and our dear departed Kamwendo mu vipatala vabene is going downstairs so I doubt they will be meeting each other any time soon.

  3. I have no kind words for this man.He never accepted to be advised.Death the master of us all has swept him away from this planet.

    • @Jay Jay

Up until 14 days ago he was a healthy and high spirited old man fitter than a fiddle happily serving Zambians vigorously. Suddenly after a routine check up he is dead. No one is bothering to say what killed him. I wonder why.

  4. May your soul rest in peace sir, you ran your race. Let those who will continue from you avoid all your mistakes. We pray that the almighty forgive your soul as we have already forgiven you.

  5. Zambians and it’s media r boring, . U mean until after 11th all we will be hearing is the dead dictator?
KENNEDY MWEENE IS MORE A HERO THAN SATA.

  6. 9 more days of this rubbish. ..bury the old man please already the man had suffered long enough in State House. ..death is part of life move on people! !

  7. Did you know! Unlike former president Banda who was bon in Zimbabwe including his parents, Dr Guy Scott was born in Zambia in Livingstone in 1944. In short, he is more Zambian than former president R Banda.

  8. Thanks ba Lusakatimes, as always, you always show good pictures, at least we have viewed our beloved President picture, despite being away.

    • These pictures are nothing new – hes been looking like this ever since he went to be a most unreliable witness in that ka court case.

  9. Cant see hordes of people in the photo only those who have been eating Zambian tax payer money including Kasebanya who should pay back the slash fund she stole from poor Zambian children.

    • Chi Malabo Mulimbi, iwe mbuli mataba, leave Dr Kaseba out of your nonsensical hate. You fo.olish headless chicken. If you are abroad, you come and see the respect the man of action has been accorded. People are weeping and fainting. Such kind of imbeciles like are known which political party you belong. I shall make sure I cast my vote on PF again. So dream on with your hallucination. You however when you die, no human being perhaps you father will attend the funeral. Leave our Dr Kaseba alone. She did actually much better uplifting the name Zambia in most conferences and seminars abroad. So to hell with you hate brother.

  10. Was the Acting President in-order to mislead Parliament over the health condition of late Sata? The pictures show the agony the man went through in his final days.
Mulenga Sata has continued telling lies like the father; he gave the impression that Sata died joking. How can you treat your father like that on his death bed.
The boy now wants to hijack the Party as if it is a shop at Chitulika village, my foot. Where are the men with balls in PF to cage the boy before he runs mad.

  11. God Bless, Micheal Sata, God Bless his wife And family at this time.

In our sorrow, we ask forgiveness for all our sins against each other.

God grant favour to Zambia, grant us wisdom in days to come especially at election time.

  12. This is the culmination of the great deception.

Sata duped Zambia to vote for him with donchi kubeba fake 90 day promises. PF and his family including his wife further duped us of his sickness by even threatening arrest for treason anyone who suggested that the Sata was ill!! No medical board you connived with Matibini and Judge Chali. The man was perfectly healthy you lied. Instead of evacuation you lied that he went for a medical check up!

Now its donchi kubeba on Sata, PF, Kaseba, Mulenga, Matibini, Chali and rest of the liars. Sata is dead as in dead. So what do you liars have to say? Where is the man who is fit as a fiddle jogging in New York and wooing investors in India and Isreal?

I am upset at what you and Sata did to Zambia through lies.

  13. I don’t agree with this death cult that has taken hold in our country. It is very unchristian! It is better to remember someone by their deeds, not by their helplessness towards the end of their life.

    • He wasn’t HELPLESS, He was FIT AS A FIDDLE!! He was Energetic trotting all over the World, in New York, was hosting parties in his room, NOT BEING ATTENDED TO, so what HELPLESSNESS are you talking about????

  14. Don’t cry for me Argentina … sorry Zambia. Oh what a circus. Oh what a show! Zambia has gone to town over the death of a demagogue called Micheal Chilufya Sata.

    • Oh what an exit, that’s how to go
When they’re ringing your curtain down
Demand to be buried like ***********
      It’s quite a sunset
And good for the country in a roundabout way
We’ve made the front page of all the world’s papers today

As soon as the smoke from the funeral clears
We’re all gonna see and how, he did nothing for years

  15. Rigor mortis in Zambia and the dawn of some blogger’s prophesy about having an election before 2016.Sata has surely departed and our dream of a new Zed has arrived.

  16. Death is always a sad thing. For even adolf hitler had people that loved him. Whatever i and many other Zambian may think of MCS his passing is sad news for our nation. I cannot help but grieve at the fact that his inner circle did not see the writing on the wall which was obvious to the rest of us. Its utterly disgusting that they tried to deceive all of us, to what end? Guy scott, Dr Kaseba, Mulenga and the rest of the crew, the Presidency of Zambia is greater than the man in the chair and it belongs to the people of Zambia, so we had the right to know the truth as he ceased to be a private citizen the moment we elected him into office. If you were genuinely interested in his wellbeing, you should have insisted on his retirement and he would be here today. How cruel and selfish of you!!!

  17. His blood is on your hands and the deception has lost all of you credibility. We all knew he wasnt well, so nothing was accomplished except for prolonging his suffering and unnecessarily committing him to exhausting schedules, flights and public appearance when the man should have been resting and spending happy days with his children and grandchildren. This insanity irks me as much as i had no love for the man’s politics; he was still OUR PRESIDENT and a son, husband, father, grandfather, human being and a zambian. All this does not bode well for your party and Mother Zambia at large. I fear for the future. Zambians lets remain united and pray without ceasing to keep our peaceful nation, which few ever hear about because of lack of common african strife, together. God Bless our country…

  18. Good bye and good riddance MCS!
It’s now time for accountability for Kaseba and the whore bunch!
    Kaseba commuted treason!

  19. Would someone tell me if Dr. Christine is/was the only woman that Chilufwa married in his lifetime. Or is she the mother of all Sata’s kids? Kindly advise.

    • no no no, sata s first wife margaret ( bana mulenga) who is the same age as him……..and Dr Kaseba in not the only mistress. there is another young lady in ndola with children,

  20. They always whisked him out of the country in the dead of the night, why do they see it fit to bring his remains back mid morning???????? nansoni balibe a mambala.
