Chipolopolo on Saturday seek to maintain second place in Group F of the 2015 Africa Cup qualifiers when they face Mozambique at Zimpeto Stadium away in Maputo.
Zambia and Mozambique are tied on five points after four rounds of matches.
Cape Verde who have already qualified for AFCON top Group F with nine points while bottom placed Niger sit on two points.
A win in Maputo would probably make Zambia qualify with a game to spare provided they score more goals.
“The team is ready for the match and the players know what is at stake. We want to get the best result from Mozambique,” said Zambia coach Honour Janza.
Mozambique coach Joao Chissano said:”We expect a tough game.”
Meanwhile, Zambia face Mozambique minus injured captain and key defender Stopilla Sunzu.
The 16h00 kickoff match will be televised on SuperSport Select 1.
