INSPECTOR General of Police Stella Libongani has advised Patriotic Front (PF) members attending the general conference to conduct themselves peacefully in order to avoid any actions that may cause confusion.

Ms Libongani urged delegates to the PF general conference to cooperate with the police officers who will be conducting patrols to avoid confrontation.

“We shall mount checkpoints along the Great North Road in order to keep vigil on those who may have intentions to enter into the conference venue with offensive weapons,” she said.

Ms Libongani has also urged all political parties participating in the presidential election to observe the provisions of the Electoral Code of Conduct during the campaign period.

Ms Libongani, at a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday, advised political parties to avail diaries of their intended rallies to the police in order for the service to plan in advance and avoid clashes.

“The police will exercise discretion when it comes to the period of notice for campaign meetings in order to allow all political parties to have equal opportunities in conducting their campaigns.

“In order to avoid cases of violence, members of different political parties should avoid straying in other political parties’ camps or campaign venues,” she said.

  1. Your professionalism will be tested bo Libongani, this is the party that employed you at war, lets see if you will flex your muscle on the cadres, like you have done with other parties cadres.

    • Libongani has also got involved in the PF catastrophic campaign. She never say nothing to HH’s rallies. It is Zambia United!! Forward with Libongani, pa kuboko..

  2. Peace is alien to PF, it is a strange behaviour. PF is mayhem. PF and the law do not see eye to eye. Telling PF to be Peaceful is like telling water and fire to shake hands.

  3. No that these baboons are talking its evident that its Ukwa who was asking them not to stop PF violence

  4. Iwe’ Stella, You know this Party of Confusion that put you in that position, has violence in it’s makeup & D.N.A, therefore Stop your wishful thinking, & prepare for Maximum Confusion, Violence, even bloodshed via Panga/ Machete assaults.
Very soon Your corrupt masters will be out of office, & you will have to explain why you failed to do your job, & stop this mindless P.F violence, that you allowed to blight our society, because the only concern you had was your belly, & NOT executing your job in a professional impartial manner.

  5. Can’t take you seriously now. You’ve failed the simple test of non-partisanship again and again.
Personally, I can’t wait till you are tossed onto the trash-heap – that’s where you belong.
