Elias Chipimo disputes reports that he has endorsed Rupiah Banda

Share

NATIONAL Restoration Party (NAREP) president Elias Chipimo has disputed online reports that he has endorsed Rupiah Banda as the next president for this country.

Mr Chipimo said he has heard many reports suggesting that he is pro-Rupiah Banda.

“I have not endorsed anybody. I am proceeding going it alone with our supporters,” he said
Mr Chipimo said he is trying hard to introduce a new way of doing politics.

“We want to introduce a leadership that is not dependent on money. As NAREP we want the best for this country,” he said.

There have been some online reports suggesting that Mr Chipimo has thrown his weight behind Mr Banda or Edgar Lungu.

    • Chipimo is really clowny, he comes to deny after a week….uummm. I am sure he was trying to assess RB’s popularity, now that he know RB has no chance, the “clown” back tracks. Anyhow, Chipimo will one day graduate in Zambian politics. Now, is HH’s time

    • Zambian eye opinion poll places HH ahead of lungu, with 57.7% and 32% respectively. HH has a slight lead of 20% over Lungu.

Caution must be exercised though, because the exact period over which poll was conducted is unknown.

  1. Hahahahaha! We have dreamers in this country! Traitor Chipimo, once used like a tissue by the PF and now on his way to the political sewer system. I think endosing Banda would have been wiser than going it solo. Banda has a greater chance of ruling Zambia more than any opposition political leader. He has a large following in rural areas. But fo now, its PF and wiseman Lungu all the way

  2. RB for President – he is the right person to leadZambia to 2016 remember when RB took over the world was in a financial crisis which needed great economic engineering and mastery for countries to pull through. Many countries suffered but Zambia under RB did not. Our mealie meal prices were cheap, petrol was reasonable, the dollar was at its lowest etc. RB for 2015 nafuti nafuti vote wisely, vote RB

  3. Hahahaha this”pic”, ba Banda so u r serious you WANT TO BE PRESIDENT ?

Chipimo why talk about POVERTY r u so poor tht u CANT hold rallies ? You r just a “Radio man” !.

HH is winning ths ELECTION NOT because of riches BUT because of his “Commitment and GOD has said so”.

    Its HH chabbe.

  4. NAREP you are easily bought that is why RB is saying all this. What were you doing in Brazil with PF in 2012? You are a limb of PF just like FDD who went to Ethiopia with MMD then Brazil with PF. Next HH will take both of you to meet ‘youthful Obama’ in Washington DC. Chipimo get a political life!

  5. Silent Elias rises to deny endorsing RB. Awaiting your full blown campaign, Boss…

I like the RB poster. So enticing. Full of yester year without the BS that went with it. I am calling you out on the exchange rate RB. The kwacha was rebased in January 2013 so your K4.60 is fictional. Surely you mean K4600.00…. Chuckle.

    • So in fact RB poster should read:

      Mealie Meal K33,000.00
      Petrol K6700.00 per litre
      US Dollar K4600.00
      Cement K3800.00

There you go PF. Something for your dirty tricks campaign to use. Mail me my brown envelope via Harare as that’s where I pass through to get home with my empty case… Chuckle.

  6. I’ve read somewhere there is already infighting in team Lungu. what will happen, if God forbid they won the elections? Zambia would be up for grabs. Zambians namupapata, don’t make a mistake of voting for the clueless clowns

  7. Who knows RB might just leave MMD for Chipimo.(RB has promised not to go beyond 2016) .It is a good deal for Chipimo,he will be made veep; come 2016 he will be the main contender. But can RB win this election?

  8. Lungu went to c Mugabe the absolute dictator, for wat? And without a sense of respect to the Acting President the two secretly left without informing the head of state.
