Acting President Guy Scott has dismissed as lies suggestions that he is willing to support Defense and Justice Minister Edgar Lungu in 2015 presidential election.
PF National Chairperson Inonge Wina was recently quoted in the media as saying Dr. Scott is willing to support Mr. Lungu, who is the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) candidates in the 2015 presidential election, in his campaigns.
In an interview with Qfm News Dr. Scott has stated that Ms. Wina’s statement is just her own fabrication because nothing has changed.
Dr. Scott says he is waiting for the Supreme Court Judgment in which Matero Member of Parliament Miles Sampa has questioned Mr. Lungu’s ruling PF presidency.
He says it is not until the judgement is ruled will it be known who the legitimate PF president and party 2015 presidential candidate is.
Dr. Scott says he will campaign with who ever the legitimate PF president and presidential president will be after the judgement.
And Dr. Scott has also denied alleged insinuations that he does not care whether the ruling PF wins or not in the forthcoming presidential election.
He has wondered how true such an insinuation can be when he has spent nearing half of his life to work for and build the ruling PF in what it is today.
And the Zambian Voice says acting President Guy Scott has demonstrated that he was not a headless follower to late president Michael Sata.
Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says Dr. Scott has also shown that he is man of his own.
Mr. Tayali says his organization thinks that Dr. Scott is an honest man and that this can be attested to in how his conducted his debates in Parliament before he become acting republican President.
He says Zambian Voice is thus of the view that this is also what Dr. Scott is who also republican vice president and Lusaka Central Member of Parliament is doing currently while he leads the country through the power transition period.
The Zambian Voice Executive Director was speaking an in an interview with Qfm News.

I salute Dr Guy Scott and the principles of democracy he has stood on regards PF presidential candidate and the whole process. If only we all followed what he suggested from beginning, there wouldn’t even been PF wrangles. Dr Scott’s stand is truly good.
