PF President Edgar Lungu has stated that it was important to deliver electoral promises made during campaigns as power lay with the people.

He said he chose to hold one of the first rallies in Luwingu because the party obtained it’s first MP in Luwingu.

He condemned Lubasenshi Member of Parliament Patrick Mucheleka for attempting to take one of the Luwingu constituencies to the Opposition.

In 2011, Mucheleka supported President Sata although he stood as an MP. This remark was met with crowds shouting back “2016 Mucheleka kuya bebele”.

Mr. Lungu stated that the construction of the Luwingu – Mansa road meant to link the two provinces is completed.

He stated that the Link Zambia project had already brought roads linking Kasama and Luwingu, and Kasama and Mporokoso.

He also stated that he was happy that farmers from Luwingu were now being paid at Natsave in Luwingu.

He reiterated his national program to ensure that Milling Plants were set up in rural areas and areas of production and this will result in mealie meal prices becoming cheap.

He also stated that Government has up scaled the electrification of rural areas through the Rural Electrification Unit.

He also used the opportunities to direct party structures to stop promoting acrimony and disputes.

He also directed that party structures welcome new members as the PF was not a closed shop.

He said President Sata formed the party with a few people and grew the party to a national movement.

He said the party will be reorganised from section, branch, constituency, districts and provinces until a new National General Conference is held in 2016.

He also stated that he was a lawyer and holds many degrees and Diplomas but chose to remain humble to serve people.

Meanwhile, UPND Leader Hakainde Hichilema has urged the electorate in Mpongwe district to reflect on the numerous challenges that the district had been facing in the run up to the Presidential by-elections slated for January 20 2015.

Addressing a rally at the central business district yesterday morning, Mr Hichilema said Mpongwe had for a long time been gripped with poverty and high levels of poor service delivery due to poor government policy.

Mr Hichilema said farmers had for a long time continued to bear the consequences of expensive farming inputs and late payments for the supply of maize to the Food Reserve Agency(FRA).

The opposition Leader urged the electorate in the district not to be cheated in the forthcoming by-elections but instead make a wise choice and vote the UPND into office.

“Am asking you to help me win this election so you can be better people and have better lives” he said

ALL Club ?#?PF7500? members that are present in Luwingu please hit me with emails as we support our President and team.
We are looking to Chilubi, Mporokoso and Kasama
    On 20th January 2015:
    VOTE: One Edgar Chagwa Lungu

    2015 vote PF(Edgar)

    I thank you

    • Mr Edgar “Chakolwa” Lungu. you and your PF promised us the the constitution in 90 days, respect for human rights, no interference with traditional leaders, more money in our pockets…..none of these promises were fulfilled and now, unashamedly you come back asking for our vote. Never, just HH

    • In this race we have picked up a very authentic spirit of humility, meekness, passion for national unity and endurance in some candidates. Unlike self exalting supremacist candidacy, a spirit of meekness deserves solidarity from every patriot. The sooner its realized that in politics it turns out, that humility offers a competitive advantage irrespective of money involved in a race, as a country we we can start to have a pool of authentic leaders to choose from. unfortunately, the humble with a meek spirit in aspirants is an issue of very rare species being.

    • If anyone has missed out the humility, simplicity authenticity and meekness in EL, then such a one need urgent spiritual deliverance to receive the sight like yesterday. We cannot take it away from EL that he has natural meekness. FYI, “humility is a dramatically more powerful and effective way of leading”. You do any scientific inquiry with those in behavioral science, they will attest to the fact that the power and effectiveness of humility in the public affairs, teams, workplace etc has shown that it offers a significant unparalleled competitive advantage to winning leaders.

    • Look at Edgar Lungu, am sure he had alot of chipumputu. Umu guys uyu chipuba (ichinkula), ine ndamumfwila uluse, same category with Emmanuel Mwamba.

    • @katondo boys..2020vision was not there as I have been undercover at some of the fake rallies of HH and I can truelly confirm that HH and UPND are losing once again NOT JUST IN 2015 BUT ALSO IN 2016 as those that are attending his rallies are doing so merely out of some sort of tribal affiliation.

Victory is certain for team EL but we should not be complacent and we should continue in the same spirit of unity of purpose and always talk about development peace and unity of Zambia which we have brought to the good people of Zambia might I stress in all the provinces of Zambia.

Zambians are wise enough to know Edgar C. Lungu is humble, down to earth and committed to Zambia and he is indeed the People’s President!!!

      ***VIVA EDGAR LUNGU 2015***

    • 2020vision

Yes am tempted to start a victory lap…

Merry Christmas and have a wonderful New year 2015

2015 Edgar has just won the elections

      I thank you

    • It is so important to deliver on electoral promises that we as PF basically didn’t give a monkeys until now that elections are near.
      We think Zambians are !mbeciles.

Actually right now we know that we are walking on thin ice and are counting on continuing f00lishness by Zambians to win the coming election.

      Vote for me EL !!!

    • But why is he foaming from the mouth when speaking? He should have also said those who fail to fulfill campaign promises should never be voted back again.

    • Yes 2020vision. i can confirm that all the Tongas on the copperbelt where the only ones at the rallies in kitwe, Ndola, Kalulushi etc while all the Bembas stayed at home and watched TV. If this does not confirm that you are in id!ot 2020, then I do not know what will.

    • PF was f00lish to lie to Zambians first time in 2011, If PF is allowed to lie again, then Zambians are f00lish.

There you have it folks, if PF is allowed to rule again, then Zambians have lost a moral compass on what is right or wrong for sure.

How ever I think Zambians are smart, and they know how to change governments using the power of the ballot.

    • Clearly this Edgar Lungu is drunk if he can’t even remember that PF made several promises and have fulfilled a handful

    • The battle lines have been drawn. We in UPND we are taking the battle serious and not underrating Lungu. We shall use all our means to safeguard our had earned votes. We are very sure with the time that has remained Pf will not be able to campaign throught Zambia, hence they resorting to rigging and black out oponents using ZNBC.This will not work. With the Zambia united campaign HH is winning this election with a good margin.

    • Ladies and Gentlemen may i take this opportunity to announce my final verdict.
Having looked at all aspects of this election, factoring the cost implication, of voting for certain candidates, i have come to a conclusion that it is best to vote for no other than Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu for president.
With no more than 20 months before the next general elections, it would be very expensive to buy new vehicles for ministers and their deputies, recalling over 80 ambassadors from all over the world and resending new ones, settling in allowances for those taking up new posts and gratuity for those coming home.
For our friends supporting president HH, you know that he will not be able to do even half what he promises in 20 months, he risks been the shortest serving president. Vote with reason

    • wanzelu
Using you own words, don’t you think that the UPND are been more f00lish to lie now and that Zambians will be more f00lish to buy into it?
Can you explain how the UPND will reduce the cost of fuel, the cost of mealie meal, provide free education upto university, free better health care, better roads and infrastructure, increase salaries for public service workers to a point were a nurse will get K5,000.00 ( take home pay).

    • I am a true son of the soil from Luwingu and was happy to hear Edgar Lungu was going to start his presidential campaigns in the Northern province from there, especially that the first PF seat was from there. Edgar is right just as the people about Patrick Mucheleka. Mucheleka wants to sell Luwingu to UPND and has shown this all along. Even when late Sata invited him to help mobilize PF in the Northern Province, he chose to go to UPND and tell them he had rejected late Sata’s offer. Muceheleka seems more comfortable with UPND and should stop masquerading as an independent candidate. Come 2016 he should be uprooted from Luwingu, for he does not even hail from there but Kasama.

    • @The monitor

I am really disappointed in the calibre of most PF bloggers. Why do you PF guys act like empty tins and defy convention honestly?

A promise is not a lie before the one who promises is given a chance to prove that he can deliver.
A promise only becomes a lie if the one who promised failed to honour the promise first time when he had a chance to do.

PF had three years to deliver on their promises but instead messed up big time. So what ever they promise now , only a f00l can believe them.

UPND has been consistent in their message but had never had a chance to govern so they can prove to the people that they can fulfil their promises. Therefore UPND’s promises are worth believing than PF’s copycat promises.

PF cadres ‘ thinking is warped. HH says B ,Lungu…

    • LUWINGU PEOPLE YOU ARE GREAT,WHEN I LOOK AT THE CLOUDS OF PEOPLE THERE I SEE QUALITY VOTERS,AGAIN I LOOK AT HH ATTENDANTS, I ONLY SEE UTWAICE,IMISEPELA IYACIMPWENA.

      NI BA EDGAR CABEEEEEE……TIYEE NABO.

    • When did you, Lungu, release that PF needed to deliver on its promises? Look here, you have not put more money in anyone’s pockets except for people like you and Nsanda. The high cost of living is getting money out of everyone’s pockets. What a scam PF has been in the last 3 years.

    • [email protected]
Look yourself in the mirror before saying you are disappointed in the calibre of most PF bloggers. If you are any better, you should have answered the questions i asked. Let me repeat them for you maybe this time you will answer them.
Can you explain how the UPND will reduce the cost of fuel, the cost of mealie meal, provide free education upto university, free better health care, better roads and infrastructure, increase salaries for public service workers to a point were a nurse will get K5,000.00 ( take home pay), in 20 months.

    • But what are you promising Mr. Lungu apart from sounding as if you belong to an opposition party? Pathetic Failures is what you group is.

    • If Edgar Vodka Lungu (EVL) is not talking about HH, it is Mucheleka. EVL is so petty. his campaign is based on character assassination, while HH is explaining his vision. EVL is a liar, he calims he has many degrees when the fact is he only has one. Can you supporters of this EVL guy tells why he was debarred by LAZ, and why despite this fact you feel he can be president?

  2. All the way indeed! It is your time HH and UPND. Not these liars who keep swallowing their own words. Ati ‘I have many degrees and diplomas but I chose to remain humble!’ kikiki… It is pride which is making Edgar to say this. Very proud and arrogant leader!

  3. It’s too late to re- promise people!Lies have a limit!! You can lie today and get away with your benefits of lies and feel like you’re a champion!! Two to three days later, the message of your lies would have traveled thousands of miles!! To catch up with it you will find yourself behind bars!! Facts of life and God of Truth and honesty with us Zambians!

  4. God indeed shall not deliver and give away our beloved country Zambia to a team of visionless leaders full of hatred and tribal. As a country everybody is able to se the hardship we undergoing in all spheres of life in pf. It is this hardship people shall make the decision on who to vote for. We need an economy that shall suite everyone in the country not only selected areas or persons .

    • If Emanuel Mwamba pressure Lungu to campaign three rallies per day ,I can safely tell you Lungu will find him self if the UTH intensive unity. He is not fit enough to campaign day and Nite like HH is doing.Mind you HH has passed through presidential elections,he knows how tough it is.

  5. The is shall stand!!If Lungu wines the truth shall be that ALL of us the Zambians shall suffer together with whoever will vote for him.The last three years sufferings in PF did not spare anybody! Fuel prices, mealie meals prices, high cost of living, lose of jobs with our nurses, employment freeze, farmers not receiving their dues on time, wage freezing, low business turnover, lose of money (kwacha) value, to mention but a few has not spared anybody who put them into office. Many people (well meaning zambians) including Scott have spoken about the nature of Lungu but people want to give it death ear!! Consequences shall never spare anybody unless you leave with him in his house!! A man who does not preside well for his household suffers and very much felt by the least!! It’s your choice!!!

    • IF IT IS TRUE THAT PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING AS YOU CLAIM, WHY HAVE THEY CONTINUED VOTING FOR PF CANDIDATE? OK, THERE MAY BE SUFFERING, AND IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FROM THE TIMES OF JESUS. THE SOLUTION HOWEVER DOES NOT LIE IN BRINGING THE MOST EDUCATED PERSON IN UPND , NAMELY HH

    • Rubbish rants. Us Zambians have seen what PF has done in 3 years. It has done greatly than MMD. So we want PF to continue.

It pains but that’s the truth,

  6. Lungu for plot one!!!!! cool, calm, collected. this man is blessed indeed. you hear people want you even those who have never known. just his name is self campained. i wonder what blessing God has put on him. lunguuuuuuuu

  7. What is sad is that people think you csn deliver everything in a day. Micheal just said i want to give you a sample of how i can change Zambia. 3yrs we hv a linked Zambia. He has even gone…… my hero rest well. Now i can never trust up n down to do anything for this nation period. Balesabailafye. Give Lungu ur vote n u hv continued development. Dorah namona ati ifintu ni Lungu. VOTE EDGAR CHAGWA LUNGU. CHIGWE CHI UP N DOWN NAFUTI NAFUTI.

  8. if being a president of Zambia wasn’t about personal gain, the opposition would have sat down thought of how much money will be spent on the by-elections and the months later general elections.

if really these politicians cared for the tax payers, they wouldn’t have had these elections and the PF to finish the remaining year.
believe me you after these elections, nothing is going to be done coz all the time will spent campaigning for the general elections especially if one of the opposition wins now.

observation made: they just don’t care.

  9. I think it’s nonsensical for the rulling party to be telling us what they will do, that’s for the opposition. What they should be telling us is what they have done in the past 3 yrs and if it is enough to let them continue. Tell the nation what you have achieved in the 3 yrs that the people gave you. Include your arrogance about the constitution too 🙂

  10. It is finished for HH and UPND!! That meeting is surely a total disaster. Let abene ba PF come to Ndola and we shall see. Already the rural has accepted this humble man Edgar Lungu.

HH must be retired this 20th January 2015. He hated Mr. Sata til death and again annoying the people with lies, atase!

    Viva Edgar viva PF

  11. Too many provinces are backing Edgar Lungu in such a way that it is hard to imagine anyone else being president come January 21. The crowds he is pulling for a new candidate are huge. With the endorsement pending from RB, Lungu will win a majority in Eastern Province.

    • Lungu and PF are gone .I don’t see how Lungu will win without rigging the findings on the ground indicate HH is well a head of Lungu.Zambians have resolved to vote for HH and his programs .Zambians are clever they don’t want presidential canditates who are name calling (character assassination). They want HH who is busy telling them what he will do.The Zambia united campaign are telling Zambians of all tribes to Unite and speak with one voice against one enemy which is Hunger and poverty.

  12. “PF President Edgar Lungu has stated that it was important to deliver electoral promises made during campaigns as power lay with the people”. BUT HAS PF DELIVERED ON THEIR PROMISES? PF has been wasteful in their spending thereby subjecting Zambians to abject poverty. I ask the following: WAT IS IT THAT WE HAVE BENEFITED AS A NATION FROM JUDGE CHIKOPA’S COMMISSION? HOW MUCH WAS INCURRED ON HUDGE CHIKOPA? REMEMBER: IT IS THE ZAMBIAN PIPO THAT WERE FOOTING HIS BILL! CHIKOPA IS NOW VERY RICH. EDGAR LUNGU IS NEVER IN HIS 2 OFFICES AS HE IS CAMPAIGNING FOR HIMSELF. IS HE ON PAID LEAVE OR IS HE ON UNPAID LEAVE OR MAY BE HE HAS NOT SIGNED ANY LEAVE FORM AT ALL? SCOTT, U ARE AS MUCH ZAMBIAN AS I AM BUT U KAM FROM A RACE THAT IS MORE HONEST. CAN U PROVIDE HONEST ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS PLZ.

    • I can NEVER waste my vote on your preferred candidate. Even your candidate is making promises he cannot honour and you know it. He wants to create jobs for you supporters, especially a certain tribe which you are. I am sure you have not forgotten the slogan “Only a Tonga can Lead UPND”! So Tongas, vote for your own, I will also cast a vote for my own. Muliokela is a better candidate than HH and would have been second to EL. Viva EL.

    • If your aim is fix HH on tribal lines you will be shocked.zambians know what they want and that is development.PF has injured many people and you will be shocked when 3/4 vote against PF and Lungu.IF Lungu comes from majority tribes then let him stop campaigning why waste his time.Lungu knows that know one can win on tribe a lone that’s why he is caimpaing ,HH has done his home work very well.HH will without doubt win these election.

  13. Edgar Vodka Lungu please stop attacking your friends even if you have no messages to tell the people. You are actually better off with your “Me Too” campaigns following HH’s messages. Yesterday you were attacking Mcheleka, the other day your agents Chomba and Kambwili were attacking HH and we wonder who you will attack today at your failed rallies. And by the way, you are a wrong person to talk about not honouring promises because PF have to date not honoured a single 2011 election promise of 90 days. And come back and sort our the mess in your Chawama constituency first.

    • Now the UPND have run out of senses but only insults are remaining in their heads and mouth. We told you that mwachepa sana bane . Lungu in state house..

Peace and Prosperity to Mother zambia

  14. The UP N DOWN knows that they have lost this chance again. That is the reason why you have persons like wanzelu starting to insult Zambians for voting for PF. What is it that the UP N DOWN will give us in less than two years, especially that the budget has been passed already. Try 2016 UP N DOWN with and please stop calling Zambians dull simply because things are not moving well with you.

  15. Tell them 6th president of zambia!thats the difference between PF and the opposition as while HH makes fake promises,Edgar Lungu is pointing at projects already done or being done.seeing is believing,so EL has already won!

    • Your statement is ambigious – but I will go with partment of you statement – underdogs on top. Yes of course we are on top that is why we are winning. Bless you.

  16. I cannot vote for HH and UPND even if I was bought. I worked and still live in Luanshya where privitisation took place and it is still very fresh in my mind. You are insulting Dora and Lungu, who cannot endorse a relative. Out of 100%, only 20% of bloggers are not Tonga. So what is your problem. Even in the USA where most of you non-voters are cohabiting with women for a green card know that Senators win in their states. So for your information, Lungu will have a landslide in Eastern coupled with his cousins’ provinces of Luapula, Muchinga, Northern. EL will scoop Copperbelt and Lusaka. He will then share votes in Central province while HH will win in Southern as expected will get votes from his cousins’ provinces of Western and North Western.

    • @Diva it because of your tribal remarks why Lungu will lose.If you think you are the majority you will be shocked.People in 2015 will vote for development not tribe. With inter marriages tribe does not matter. We in UPND will continue preaching peace. The truth prevails over evil.VIVA HH and Zambia United.

    • @ Sido Mark, have you forgotten the slogan “Only a Tonga can lead UPND”? I learnt from the best tribalists, spare me napapata. Come back to Zambi and vote, we want real voters not lap top voters. In Zambia, it is physical participation.

  17. Anyway we will see who gets more votes than the other on 21st Jan. YOU ARE and WILL still remain my friend. Forward we go with ECL. They are still working. The so called Haka Hika will just get more confused when he gets into government. He knows nothing in reality.

WHY ARE THESE CHAPS SUPPORTING HIKA HICHI so bitter when talking to them???

OOOK… beacuse HIka Hichi only has this chance to stand. SORRY TRY BEING a COUNCILLOR in 2016.

  18. i will vote for HH but in a democracy every one has their choice. i dont want to insult people who will vote for EL because in an event he wins, he too will be my president. the greatest equalizer is this – we are all zambians and there are no shops for EL supporters or HH supporters. so we should approach politics with civility. what i am convinced is that HH has matured than the under 5 of the last 5 or so years when he entered the political arena. the challenge i have with PF is that some things that they can sort out by one declaration, they didnt. cadres still march without permit, land grabbing and the recognition of a chief. surely these are things that de-campaigned them. for all of us, we will still have a Zambia after 20th – the question is who will be its leader?

  19. Sata lies transferred into EL mantra of ‘Donchi Kubeba’.
How did MP Mucheleka support Sata when he stood as independent member of parliament, Mucheleka was harassed by Sata like a criminal setting police on him and was never allowed to go round his own constituency. These facts stand to day and E Lungu tells lies, typical of PF.
Above all, Mucheleka is the defender of Chitimukulu who has stood thick and thin with Ba Chanda Sosala as he was being humiliated by late Sata. Muletasha mwe ba Bemba ifishinka, not ubufi yo wa fititi, mwaba shaine pa bufi? Saleni amano ya fishinka lelo.

  20. To expect HH to win lusaka is day-dreaming. Just like expecting Lungu to win Mazabuka is crazy. the reality is that the long worded answer to regional voting pattern which will definately happen like it or not. Let me be frank; HH will not win in Mansa, Kasama, Isoka, Kabwe, Chipata, Kitwe, Ndola, Luanshya and Lusaka. similarly EL will not win in Gwembe, Choma, Mazabuka. The “swing provinces” of North-western, Westran and parts of Cental province will be shared. Thats the reality on the ground.

    • @Observer keep on dreaming. This 2015.your Lungu will not believe his eyes and that’s even rigging will be difficulty .People are underatting HH.This is good they will drink there own poison.

  21. VIVA HH ,VIVA ZAMBIA UNITED.PF is lost even the so called unite has failed. Were was scott in Liwingu.God will fight for his Oppressed people and deliver them into canani.God created Zambians he did not create certain people to superior to others. We shall see who god choses. The battle is own up to the end.IF Lungu wins after rigging God will cut short his reign.Only day justice will be saved on the silver plate.HH’s victory is on the corner, only less than 30 days now.Unless your Lungu resorts to sleeping in the bush campaigning like HH ,your Lungu will be shown that hard work pays.Sata did not win easily Zambians are clever he had to campaign hard.

    • SIDO MARK.
Why should it be that when HH wins it is God’s wish but if Edgar Lungu wins it is rigging? Aren’t both God’s creation?

    • Scott is a true patriot, he’s working as a president not stealing from tax payers to attend to political egos, EL should have resigned from his ministerial posts, what hes doing is theft by public servant in broad day light. Levy Mwanawasa(RIP) would have not allowed this.

    • Sido Mark you are just another Tonga dreamer praying that your tribesmate wins, you don’t even know what your party’s manifesto is and whether it is a left leaning or right leaning party, you are an ignorant follower that is following UPND merely because it is 75% comprised of Tongas.Last I checked Tongas are not a majority in Zambia and after the way you Tongas treated your only tribal allies represented by Sakwiba at your last undemocratic convention years ago I believe its safe to say the vote in Western province will be split 50/50 however, taking into account the developmental works under PF you UPND are actually likely to lose in Western province, now NW is another matter seeing there have been set backs as a result of the mines but the rest is PF! Fact!

      *VIVA EDGAR LUNGU 2015*

  22. I respect all HH suppoters. However the fact is HH will only win 3 provinces and EL will win 6. One province either Lusaka or CB will be a toss up. Do the maths. HH supporters please manage your expectations. What HH suppoters are doing is like making a K2m budget when your salary is just K1.5m. Let’s be real.

    • HH supporters are only interested in the ‘Only a Tonga can lead UPND’. Fortunately, the slogan is/was not meant for Zambia. If cows vote, he will have a chance. Ifwe fwema Divas bonse, no Lungu na PF finito.

  23. the UPND or UP N DOWN cannot win the presidency, this party now with “self-made self styled economic managers” and they “hardcore Tribalist Hakayinde (he will not walk) Hichelima (He is Crippled) knows that they have lost this huge chance again. Zambians are not f00lish that you can cheet them with those Paid and Ferried supporters from one rally to the next.

  25. The Country is serious debt yet you choose to look the way. Edgar Lungu is not fit to be President. Anything or anybody but Pf.

  26. PF should not relax its campaigns. Make sure that you win Luapula, Northern, Muchinga, Eastern by larger margin so that Lusaka, copperbelt and central provinces can supplement. The truth is looking the elections mood on the ground, Edgar Lungu has the highest chance of winning and followed by HH. But dont sleep and thinks its walkover. You need to put strategies and work hard.

  27. Aba ma dizzy, what kind of political organization are running where you can not craft your own message? It has become evident that everything you are promising or attempting to implement now is in reaction to HH. Your party has failed to pay farmers all of a sudden you are promising that this time arround you will. Aba ma dizzy please take time to sober up and write your own manifesto. Fyonse te fya mubwalwa!! This is not just bar politics this affects peoples lives.

  28. Zambians be warned lies of Sata did not die with him, other liers have been born with them and are busy lying to Zambians. Remember 90 day lies, more money in pockets, youth unemployment, 90 day new constitution delivery gimmick, Balotseland lies, promises lies, lies, lies alive and kicking as a dying horse. Know PF by lies and vote them out.
