Acting President Guy Scott and his wife, Charlotte will on Wednesday December 31, 2014 host Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto.
Mr. Ruto is currently on holiday in Livingstone.
He will arrive in Lusaka on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 12:00 hours aboard a chartered plane.
This is according to a statement released to ZANIS in Lusaka today by Dr. Scott’s Senior Private Secretary Robert Kamalata.
Mr. Kamalata said the two leaders will, together with their families, proceed to Kasisi Orphanage where they will have lunch and thereafter have private talks.
Mr. Ruto and his family are expected to leave Lusaka on the same day at 15:00 hours.

My opinion of this man has changed since the swine flu scandal. He is a good man. Everyone deserves a second chance so the saying goes. Bad eggs for Zambia are people like Mathani, Mmembe (when he thinks that he can be bigger than Zambia and use his so-called journalistic influence to choose presidents. I hate such chaps). Mumba Malila is another unsung hero who has had his flaws but been forth-right in dealing with landmark judgements, like the RB (MMD-mumba) case of wanting to push in to cause confusion among the young presidential aspirants. Zambian political spectrum will now need to change once and for all. I really don’t care who wins, I care only for Zambia. Whoever we get knows what to do or they will be out in under two years, a relatively sort probation for such a position.
