MMD Chilanga Member of Parliament Keith Mukata has endorsed the candidature of Patroitic Front president Edgar Lungu in the January 20 elections.
Mr. Mukata declared his support for the PF President when he addressed residents of Julius Chitukuko area in Chilanga district.
He said the PF government was a government for the poor people adding that all problems that were being faced by the residents have been addressed.
Mr. Mukata said the residents should be united and give the PF government chance to finish their five year time in office.
He added that government has already planned developmental programs for the country and there is need to back it in the forthcoming presidential by election.
And MMD Chilanga constituency chairperson Benjamin Mvula urged the Julius Chitukuko residents to rally behind Edgar Lungu stressing that he was the only candidate who could finish the PF projects.
He said that Edgar Lungu should be entrusted with leadership because even the late President Michael Sata did the same.
Meanwhile, wife to Patriotic Front presidential candidate Edgar Lungu, Esther, today visited the victims the collapsed houses in Julius Chitukuko area of Chilanga district.
ZANIS reports that Mrs Lungu said the sad development prompted her to visit the victims and sympathise with them.
She urged the affected residents to remain calm and ensure they voted for her husband Edgar Lungu.
She said Edgar Lungu is the only candidate who can continue with the late President Sata’s developmental works.
Mrs Lungu said the PF government was for the poor people adding that their problems would be addressed.
And Munali Member of Parliament Nkandu Luo urged the women in the area to vote for Edgar Lungu.
She said women faced a lot of challenges stressing that such can only be solved by Edgar Lungu once voted into power.
Heavy rains last week left a trail of destruction in Chilanga district leading to the collapse of the 100 houses in Julius Chitukuko area.

Keith Akekelwa Mukata is a dull lawyer from Kafue (Nangongwe Area) and Musamba in Chilanga. A repeater in grade 7, got to grade 8 at Naboye through what was called second selection. His young brother Lubinda, another dull chap has already passed grade 8 to Luangwa Secondary school also failed grade 9 and was dropped to grade 8 to repeat ending up doing 7 years of secondary education. The young brother Gilbert Mukata was shot dead by C5 police not so long ago. Who is this dull Keith to endorse people?? What influence does he have?
