Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili has directed Chipolopolo to win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Zambia is not among the favourites to win the AFCON despite winning the tournament three years ago.
Kambwili said winning the Africa Cup would excite many Zambians.
“It is good Zambia qualified to the Africa Cup. I have given instructions to the boys to go out and win the AFCON,” he said.
“The boys should re-ignite the 2012 celebrations by winning the AFCON,” Kambwili added.
Zambia is in Group B of the Africa Cup together with Tunisia, Cape Verde and DR Congo.

Why play a tournament you have no chance and have never won?
There is germany, France, UK, Brazil. England will win the world cup like in the 60’s when they won it.

Kambwili, your job as minister is more strategic than tactical. Leave that to heads of departent, people who are way way below you. When will you learn?
You need to start talking about policy matters and how such matters are improving the lives of Zambians. If you don’t have the capacity to to do that may be you should get a job as head of department in your own ministry.
Maybe it’s the reporting that’s faulty but if that Kambwili hippo really “ordered” Chipolopolo to win the cup, then he’s thicker headed than I ever imagined before.

Every country want to win it, this is why it will be an exciting match. Kambwili should not ORDER the boys to win it. Order = threatening. Instead he should as them honestly to win the cup and raise the flag.. Ps did he pay 10k slapped on Nkana for his unwanted behaviour 😮
I like football. Zambia Winning the tournament is the funniest thing ever. It is possible, but the coach and players are not motivated or creative enough.

I think the boys should instruct Kabwili to go to the gym and lose $100lbs and then only should they listen to him. Its a shame and very embarrassing that we have an obese sports minister. He needs to lead by example and train on a daily basis.

Kambwili has ordered the team to win but the opposite will happen. This assertion is based on the following: the coach is a novice, the players are from poor leagues, no proper facilities and weak support. This is not the time of Jesus Christ so miracles are no longer happening even if Zambia was declared a Christian country.
