Coach Beston Chambeshi dodged verbal fire from supporters after his stuttering Nkana team squandered a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 at home to Nkwazi.
Chambeshi was bundled out of Nkana Stadium in Kitwe under heavy police escort immediately after referee Stanley Hachiwa had sounded the final whistle.
The pressure is mounting on Chambeshi who has failed to win in Nkana’s opening three games of the season after picking up just one point.
Moreover, Nkana have now lost both their first two home games raising the temperature with their easily combustible supporters.
Meanwhile, Nkana took the lead in the 20th minute through Felix Nyaende but Given Sinyangwe own goal in the 44th minute summarized the hosts early-season predicament.
Nkwazi sealed the win in the 49th minute through Kasongo Mwepya.
The win was Nkwazi first this season and came fortnight after they lost 1-0 at home Mufulira wanderers.
And at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola, Unbeaten Nchanga Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by Zanaco.
Fashion Sakala put Nchanga ahead before Augustine Mulenga made sure they shared the points.

This is very disappointing indeed being a nkana supporter. Losing 2 games at home ground instead of picking maximum points. What has gone wrong so soon at the beginning of the season? Something must be done immediately to avoid further losses…
Nkana is too big for Chambeshi.We need a coach like Wilson Mwale or Hector Chilombo.We need a coach who never made a name during their playing time but have passion for coaching, the way coach Massy had ,may his soul rest in peace.Not Chambeshi,its better Zeddy takes over.
Don’t goads at Chambeshi, Just examine the crop of players he has. They need time to be together .

Ba Eddy, I agree with you. It was Fordson who won that league and I think he was treated very unfair.
