Power Dynamos take command of FAZ Super Division

Power Dynamos have gone top of the FAZ Super Division table after picking up a rare away win at Nakambala Leopards in Mazabuka.

Power beat Nakambala 1-0 to record their first away win there since 2009.

Jimmy Ndhlovu lone goal handed Power the three points and third successive win of the 2015 season.

Power have 9 points, tied with Green Eagles and Konkola Blades.

However, a win for Zesco United by two goals on Sunday away at Nkana will see Power toppled.

Meanwhile, Eagles failed to stay top after they were held to a 0-0 away to Mufulira Wanderers at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira to drop to second place.

The result was a relief for Wanderers who were whipped 4-1 by Zesco in Ndola last Sunday.

At Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe, Konkola Blades’ quiet run continued when they beat Nkwazi 3-0.

Dave Kalandanya, Eric Chomba and Nashya Kaya scored in the 47th, 66th and 84th minutes respectively to move unbeaten Blades up from sixth to third place.

Zanaco are fourth after a 3-0 away win over Green Buffaloes courtesy of a Charles Zulu brace in the 41st and 77th minute while Emmanuel Phiri added the third in stoppage time.
