Kashimoto praises impressive Mighty

Mighty Mufulira Wanderers legend and ex-club coach Fredrick Kashimoto has hailed the performance of his old team in the early stages of the 2015 FAZ Super Division season.

Mighty on Saturday moved into fourth place on the table after beating Forest Rangers 2-1 in a week seven match at Shinde Stadium in Mufulira.

This was promoted Mighty’s third victory of the season and it pushed Manfred Chabinga’s side to 11 points.

In an interview, Kashimoto declared that Wanderers have a bright future in the top-flight league after a ten-year hiatus.

“Mighty are playing good football and I think they will go very far,” he said.

“They have a bright future as you can see from the way they are playing,’ Kashimoto said.

Wanderers have picked three wins, two draws and two defeats.

“As a club legend, I am happy that our tean is back in the Super League,” he said.

  1. I don’t know what Kalu has to say on the allegations we hold against him of neglecting the teams that birthed his career, Mighty and Mufulira Blackpool.
With his influence surely he could have done something with regards to sponsorship!
