Nkana visit Forest as postponements blight Super Division

The FAZ Super Division on Saturday enters round eight with four matches out of the possible eight rescheduled to unknown dates.

The affected teams are Zesco United, Zanaco, Power Dynamos and Red Arrows who have contributed a number of players to the Chipolopolo squad that plays Malawi in a friendly match on Sunday at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

Second placed Zesco who were scheduled to host Nkwazi in Ndola have contributed five players to the the national team.

This means none of the top five teams on the table will be in action.

Zanaco leads the Super Division with 17 points after seven games and none of the teams in action this weekend could challenge The Bankers.

Meanwhile, Nkana on Saturday visit Forest Rangers at Dola Hill in Ndola hoping to continue with their recent resurgence.

Eighth placed Nkana can move into fifth place with a win at Forest who are 13th on the table.

Nkana have nine points from seven games.

Elsewhere on Saturday, bruised Green Eagles will be visited by Konkola Blades in Choma,just a week after they suffered a 3-0 loss at Red Arrows.

Konkola are also wounded as they smart from their first loss of the season inflicted on them by champions Zesco.

In Lusaka, Lusaka Dynamos are welcoming bottom placed Nakambala Leopards at Edwin Emboela Stadium while National Assembly host Nchanga Rangers at Woodlands Stadium.

  1. Zedian soccer, I just miss the 80s soccer scene when we had the likes of passionate players. Now, all what Zed has is a rock roast. No wonder winning African cup was a fluke.
