Police in Sesheke District have apprehended four people in connection with the attack of the PF Secretary General Davis Chama and his entourage which happened yesterday in Mulobezi constituency.
Police Spokesperson Charity Munganga – Chanda has told QFM News in a statement that the suspects include the Sesheke Central Member of Parliament Siyanga Siyauya, Gerad Imanda, Likamba Godfrey while the fourth one Mushaukwa Mushaukwa is nursing his wound in Sesheke District Hospital under police guard.
Ms Chanda says a pistol with seven rounds of ammunition and other offensive weapons were recovered from a Toyota Hilux Reg. NO. ALD 9469 belonging to Mr. Siyauya.
She says the Hilux was one of the vehicles that were used to block the road when the attack happened.
The Police Spokesperson furthermore states that the vehicle has since been impounded and investigations into the matter continue.

PF, UPND and MMD are all violent parties. UPND has been advised not to play in the hands of the violence of the ruling parties by retaliating or in self defense but they seem to lack self control and want to prove a point that they are also powerful, the only difference is MMD and PF have tasted power in Government and UPND has not which may disadvantage them by people’s perception of also being labelled a violent party. Repent UPND before it is too late, the other parties have nothing to lose because they know they have lost people’s confidence, UPND has everything to lose by retaliating. What were the weapons doing in the UPND vehicles, no one will be able to tell the difference between the violent parties. UPND repent and turn to the Lord.
The Media should also give the whole picture and report on the UPND cadre who was attacked , all violent parties need to be strongly cautioned whether ruling or opposition. Violence is a no no in Zambia in Jesus name. Politicians repent or you perish in your iniquities, wickedness and evil. Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.
Lungu should fire Chama now if he wants people to start respecting him.
Chama is behaving like Kabimba now, drunk with power. He is going to make PF unelectable just like Kabimba.
Please Lungu I beg you, if its true that Chama shot at an innocent person trying to exercise his political choice of supporting UPND,then he should be fired ASAP if you are to be respected by some of us.
Those who can remember very well I was the one who suggested that Sata replaces Kabimba with Lungu, because I thought Lungu was the moderate one in PF, But what is happening right now is sad and if Lungu does not act to fire Chama now, then his credibility as a moderate leader will go down the drain.

Its encouraging to hear that RB has weighed in to have Chama replaced if its true that he shot at that victim.
Already RB wants Chama out no matter what. With this travesty of justice he has just committed by shooting at an innocent UPND supporter, his enemies will move in strongly and have him shoved aside to restore peace , tolerance and sanity that Lungu promise the people when they supported him.
I will be shocked to see Chama continue after this incident. Kabimba presided over such atrocities during his reign as PF SG, but he was soon ejected. I believe Lungu does not want this, and he will act to eject this man and have him replaced.
