    • Wait until you get swindled, Dangote is a Company used by African heads of states to siphon Government Money. Rupiah Banda his a share holder and very much part of the whole game.

      Wake up Zambians??.

Celebrate today you will cry tomorrow..

Hope you will bring down the cost of cement.. to payback to poor Zambians..

    • @ The Prince, do you have any evidence to back up your accusation? or is it all hearsay like I suspect?

    • @ CovertNigerian don’t mind The Prince who is simply jealous and has the typical mentality of those who see corruption or dark powers wherever hard working individuals gain success. He should in fact be happy that Dangote has created employment opportunities that will contribute to better lives of families.

    • The main problem with poverty of the mind is that those who suffer from it cannot get their small minds around the fact that it is possible to acquire wealth without going to bed with “politicians” or being a satanist. Prince free your mind. Observe a bucket full of crabs every time one tries to come out all the others reach out to pull down it down. Condolences Prince I pity you for the way your poverty mindset disease torments you.

    • it is possible to acquire wealth without going to bed with “politicians” or being a s.a.t.a.nist. Ba LT is that an insult?

  1. Bravo ba president!when we begin to have Nigerian investment in Zambia is a sign that Zambia has improved in multilateral ties with African countries. To have investments from big economies like the African giant Nigeria it’s not easy.Continue president Lungu to attract more investments in our country to create jobs for our youths.

    • @kalulu – your ‘misplaced’ praises just expose how little ‘Alungu’ has accomplished! You mean you want to re-write history and make Dangote’s investment a result of useless ‘Alungu’? Please, be serious! No one needed to look for everywhere for what Mwanawasa did. It was plain for all to see. It is also plain to see what ‘Alungu’ has done. Dollar at K7.90; Fuel prices up; Debt up from $1.4Billion to $5.0Billion; RB – dubious acquittal; DPP – malicious prosecution; Zesco??? Mines??? Job creation??? Chimbwi No Plan!

  2. @Kalulu, please save the praises on Lungu. Zambia has been having foreign investors long before PF came into power. It is not because of Lungu that Dangote decided to invest in Zambia. Praising Lungu on this Dangote project is a misappropriation of Praise! There is nothing Lungu has personally done in making this project a success. Don’t let Lungu reap where he did not sow. Praises to great Aliko Dangote.

  3. I hope NO brown envelops will exchange hands to give undue advantages to the Nigeria company at the detriment of our own cement companies Mr. President please ….

  4. this is the guy Shamenda wanted to mess up, now the same govt is busy boasting about the investment they tried to frustrate.
    Why not sent VEEP also.

  5. Some bloggers like Kalulu amuse me.Simple logic is all it takes to know that Lungu has nothing to do with Dangote investing in Zambia.Construction of this plant commenced in 2010 when Lungu and PF were no were in sight of governance.Next Kalulu is going to praise PF and lungu for the Mambwe collieries coal thermal power plant.Anyway praise singers will always live amongst us

  6. Imwe fi UPND nafi FDD, PF brings in investors which everyone is appreciating, you start your petty jealous yappings. Just get of Zambia if at all you think everything good can only come out of your failed leaders called Under 5 and Prost1tute Nawakwi.

Cement prices are going down down down and PF is poised to develop Zambia. If your occupation is polygamy and beer drinking, us who believe in development at National and personal levels are very happy with the coming of Dangote in Zambia.

Lafarge was stealing from us all and now they shall see the reality.

Shalawambe, ifintu ni Lungu and PF till 2026 because we are amazed by the massive development taking place countrywide. If you cant see this development, then go and stick yourself to the fallen GBM, Kabimba, HH and Nawakwi.

  7. There are reports that Dangote salaries and conditions of service are very poor. Could this be the reason that their cement prices are low apart from the fact that they produce their own power.
This needs to be investigated but not by Shamenda’s ministry and we all know why.

    • @ACC,
Shamenda was actually at the commissioning ceremony. He was clean shaven for a change and was serving tea and other beverages to guests …

  8. At least one day state visit by Nigerian VEEP makes sense and shows seriousness. Not Mr.Me Too who considers such trips to be holidays.

  9. Why this hullabaloo about a positive step in pan African multinational investment? Should charity not begin at home as far as Foreign Direct Investment is concerned? If Africans refuse to invest in Africa. How can we show the world that we can shoulder our loads before they help us to lift it to our shoulders? Why are most comments here destructive and partisan? We Africans should have a change of orientation. Dangote can decide to build 50 cement firms in Nigeria because Nigeria sits comfortably on lime stone belt spanning over 500 kilometres. But his Africanism is earning him undue criticism in Zambia.
May God help us in Africa.

  10. Rightly or wrongly Dangote is doing something tangible and real, its real cement and will be used in zambia and region for real development to build houses and infrastructure. This is not some workshop or trip abroad which is completely useless to anyone not bennefiting directly through allowances. Criticize with sense and learn to appreciate things.

  11. well done Dangote as you have shamed LAFAGE who was stealing from poor Zambians. Cement has been reduced by over 30%, who can not praise Dangote for the job well done? Only those who feed on jealousy and grudge will ever criticize even a great job. Once again, well done Dangote.
