FAZ congratulates President Lungu

Share

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) President, Kalusha Bwalya, has congratulated President Edgar Chagwa Lungu on the occasion of Zambia’s 51 years of independence.

Kalusha has thanked President Lungu for his undying support and wise counsel to Football House and joins the people of Zambia in celebrating Zambia’s independence.

“We believe that dedication, selflessness and unity are key ingredients in achieving everything we desire in our world of football,” Kalusha said.

He further said in the first 50 years of independence Zambia managed to win the Africa Cup of Nations.

He added that it is also true that in the same period the nation managed to claim other accolades in the COSAFA and CECAFA regions.

He said at club level Zambia has managed to conquer the continent at least once, a success that can only be attained through unity of purpose.

“Winning accolades has not cured our resolve to aspire for more, bigger and greater things such as conquering the continent again and qualifying Zambia to the FIFA world cup for the first time. This is what embodies our motto of ‘eyes on the ball, ‘’ said Kalusha.

Kalusha has since reminded members of the football fraternity that without unity of purpose very little can be achieved.

This is according to a statement made available to ZANIS by FAZ spokesperson, Nowata Tembwe, today.

  1. BaKulu, kuwayawaya fye, Want another loan from EL now that you friend Sepp Blatter is no more. I do not trust this Kalu anymore, lost his house because of debts, loan from fifa and all these after being one of the success story of Zambian football but its like he came out with nothing and now he is trying to make some quick money.

    • Kuwayawaya fye cacine!
He may have noticed a gap in Lungu’s sensitivity to legal affliction and wants to exploit it.
      Pa ZED!

    • The Galu knows now that, if gov’t interferes with the way FAZ is run the Galu will no longer run to his grandpa Sepp in Zurich to shield him as they are cleaning up there; so he is trying everything to charm the ruling party.

    • Kalu is an embarrassment, he is not even ashamed of himself? see his friends, the likes of Abedi Pele?? The guy has prosper football academy and helps Ghanaian player to land in good clubs. He is helping rebuild the Ghana National team at no cost?? Promoting serious sports in schools. Yet Kalu wants to still steal from FAZ and Zambians. He is so corrupt.

Selfish Kalu, EL don’t bring that guy next to you..

  2. The Galu is trying so hard to boot-lick the president that he can continue plundering FAZ’s resources….it is clear that FAZ is his gravy train without it he is nobody.

  3. Edgar knows how Kalu can bootlick any sitting president and then turn if they lose power but thanks to RB as he has already informed Edgar how this Galu can turn around.
