Veteran coach Benjamin “Kawilo” Chilongo is confident that Zambia will on Sunday qualify for the 2016 CHAN tournament as they face Mozambique in the return leg tie of the final round at Machava Stadium.
Zambia, who are carrying a 3-0 advantage from the first leg match played in Ndola, need just a draw away in Maputo to end a seven-year hiatus from the competition.
“I am very sure that we are going to qualify this time around,” Chilongo, a former Nkana and Ndola United coach, said.
Chilongo is cautioning Zambia against complacency.
“The players should not relax. We won by 3-0 here and they can also do the same in Mozambique,” he said.
Zambia missed the CHAN competition in 2011 and 2014.
THAT’S IT ONE KAWILO…
