The case, in which Chongwe Member of Parliament, Sylvia Masebo, is accused of abuse of authority of office, failed to take off because she is unwell.

Ms Masebo is alleged to have cancelled a tender of hunting licenses, when she served as Minister of Tourism and Arts.

She is further charged with abuse of office, for allegedly terminating employment contracts of senior officers at Zambia Wildlife Authority -ZAWA, without following procedure.

Ms Masebo has pleaded not guilty.

And when the matter came up for continued trial, Ms Masebo’s lawyer informed the court, that she is unwell forcing the court to adjourn the matter to October 10, 2015.

Ms. Masebo is being represented by Lusaka lawyer, Robert Simenza while the state is being represented by Makebi Zulu, Jonas Zimba and Gilbert Phiri.

    • Get well soon Sylvia. We want justice done. They say justice delayed is justice denied. Prove to the PF ldiots that they are a vindictive, hate-filled bunch with their clueless leader, Edgar “me too” Lungu a the head of the party.

Sylvia has nothing wrong to prove to the pf !diots but to the upnd elitists. Reason being that upnd are the ones who revealed the corrupt acts of Sylvia and forced sata to drop her to pave way for investigation. They are the ones who dragged her to the courts and why today have you seen an angel in the corrupt Sylvia. If you don’t know the background of this case better use your hands for wanking than to be misusing your key pad/board for typing shit comments.

  2. Did LT just delay posting this article or what? I see the case was adjourned to 10th Oct, 2015, but we are way beyond 10 Oct. What kind of reporting is this?

  3. …Silvia, get well soon our dear!

The will of the people must prevail

    VIVA ZAMBIA…VIVA UPND!!
