Patriotic Front-PF- Chairperson for Information Frank Bwalya has urge former Vice President Guy Scott to formally distance himself from divisive and disrespectful comments against President Edgar Lungu that the Post Newspapers attributed to him.

Father Bwalya says Dr Scott should also demand an apology and retraction of the story from the Post Newspaper if indeed he did not give the newspaper such a story to prove his innocence.

He says failure by Dr Scott to do this will make it difficult for the members of the party and the general public to believe his innocence on the matter.

And Father Bwalya has urged PF members not to rush into condemning senior officials over unconfirmed statements published in the media.

Dr Scott was recently quoted as issuing disparaging remarks against President Lungu.

Dr. Scott could not be reached by broadcast time.

  1. He is now PF Communication Chairperson, and the first thing he does is to attack his own “PF brother”. He is very divisive!

  2. LUSAKA TIMES, PLEASE STOP REFERING TO FRANK BWALYA AS FATHER, HE IS NO PRIEST BUT THE SNAKE IN EDEN. IT IS PEOPLE LIKE FRANK THAT WANT TO CHASE THE SATA PF MEMBERS AND CLAIM HOT SPOTS FOR THEMSELVES. THE PRESIDENT WILL RUE THE DAY HE BEFRIENDED THESE ASPS.

  3. To think he used to call himself a priest. This man should NOT even set foot in church. He is a Lucifer who smells of sulphur. People must be allowed to have an opinion. Since when did Lungu the drunkard become a god who cannot be criticised. Really Zambia needs a constitution which respects the fact that MPs are elected by ‘The People’ and that only ‘The People’ can fire them – not unelected people like this Lucifer.

  4. Disappointing reactions from bloggers once again! Instead of focusing and reflecting on the substance and import of what Frank Bwalya is saying, most of the bloggers are instead attacking Bwalya’s persona. What a pity!

    • IS THERE ANYTHING IMPORTANT FAZA BWALYA HAS RAISED? GUY SCOT IS ENTITLED TO HIS OWN OPNION AND DOES NOT NEED THE FAZA TO LECTURE HIM……I DOUBT IF SCOT EVEN HAVE TIME TO READ WHAT THIS LUNATIC HAS TALKED ABOUT

  5. The citizens are free to criticize their leaders. This is not a personal attack because national leaders can be criticized. If there is need, then the libel case can be initiated. The freedom of expression is for the free. Praising the leaders excessively may also send the wrong signal for democracy. It is all about give and take.

    • Mukwai kumbali kutukwe mfumu. These guys should know that Lungu is a president of Zambia, not PF. Why are they so defensive of this man? What are afraid of?

If he can’t take the heat, let him get out of politics.

Edgar Lungu is a government issue: as long as he is president, his life is no longer his own. Frank Bwalya and them need to get used to the idea that they don’t own Lungu. We do!

  6. Bwalya, are you threatening Guy Scott? You can threaten some people, I doubt if you will manage with Dr Scott. He speaks his mind and does not know how to lick boots. Good luck,

  7. Father Bwalya is not steady with his lifestyle. He can not be trusted. He is just a Job seeker from President Lungu. Leave Dr. Scott alone. Dr. Scott is a man of integrity. If he said those words or not, so what? Father Bwalya was not there when Guy Scott and late Micheal Sata formed the PF? Father Bwalya should go back to priesthood. He failed to run the Alliance for Better Zambia party because he became bankrupt and could not support himself. Viva Dr. Scott. Come 2016, Vote for the Heritage Party where you will be given respect.
