Ndola United coach Lawrence “Big Jim” Mweemba is hoping that his FAZ Division One North side will have a good campaign in 2016.
United have not played in the FAZ Super Division since 2001 and are winners of the old Castle Cup in 1970 and BP Top 8 in 1980.
This season, United finished 10th on the 18-team Division One table with 46 points from 33 games played.
The Masala Boys finished 20 points behind champions Lumwana Radiants after garnering 13 wins, 13 losses and Seven draws.
“We had ups and downs this season. We had difficulties some manageable others not,” Mweemba said.
The ex-Power Dynamos and Kitwe United trainer joined Ndola at the start of the season.
“Now we have to look at where we went wrong. Next year we hope to do better,” Mweemba said.
He said Ndola United will bolster their squad ahead of the 2016 season.
