Rainbow Party President Wynter Kabimba says he has big plans aimed at transforming Zambia’s mining sector.

Mr. Kabimba says if elected into office, he will encourage state participation in the mining sector to promote small scale mines and not nationalize.

Mr. Kabimba says he will introduce clear legislation to separate large scale mining and small scale mining as well as provide finance capital to Zambian engaged in small scale mining.

He says his government will translate government policy into legislation to encourage private investment and promote dialogue with mining companies.

Mr. Kabimba says another issue that his government will focus on is training experts in mining law, accounts and taxation.

The Rainbow Leader states that he will also introduce legislation for equitable retrenchment packages.

  1. Kabimba, get intelligent people as think tanks to help you draw up a realistic vision than such ill-conceived policies. You really believe the future of this country is still anchored on mining?

Listen, with time the distinctly Zambian spirit for realism, unite and optimism has confoundingly grown making it hard to cheat and shake with more hype.

Good luck as you practice your democratic rights in speech and participation in a burgeoning political order.

  2. Thought he would talk about Agriculture as an alternative but now he is talking about nationalization…..Kusabailafye mukwai !

  3. Has Winter got members? His plan is quite embarrassing to the say the least. Not even my G10 boy can reason like that.

  4. Ba president please keep quiet, sit down, research, consult and map out something well thought out. You are seriously decampaigning your-self by this shallow stuff you are offering. By the way, the biggest unanswered question we Zambians have for you is -what is it that you can offer Zambia when you failed to even give us progress on the constitution when you were one of the most powerful people in government?? As long as you dont give us tangible explanations, you will forever remain a joker in our eyes.

  5. Kikikikiki….Is Mr Mmembe serious? Surely can any sane person promote Kabimba as his presidential candidate?
Heavy debt burden on the Past News has really taken its toll on Mmembe’s mental state.
