Thanks for the picture though the headings are monotonous and fail to tell a real story to those who were not there to witness this tragedy. Good that you have shown how Police helped to protect some lives and properties of potential victims. However you needed to show more variety of photos on this issue to help readers have a good idea of the whole episode.
Looking at the pictures, I am not sure whether there will be meaningful prosecutions considering the age groups involved of under 15s I can see in pictures. Where are the parents? Big job needs to be done by parents, civil society, religious houses, govt to correct these juveniles or else the future for the nation is in trouble.
guyz we are not shure if rwandenes are the one killing
And picture number 27 looks like these soldiers were having a light moment with this jerabo in blue. palibe ulemu yayi.
50 years after independence the only gear police have as riot gear is a baton and helmet if you are a senior officer…and the politicans are forever increasing their salaries.
pic 30 a police officer gesturing FORWARD symbol… The only adults I see on the photos capable of breaking the grill doors are the guys in PF caps although they seem, to be protecting the shop with damaged steel doors… Did these children in the previous photos do such vandalic act then the PF men come scene?
This is barbaric. Not long ago we were condemning the South Africans with their xenophobic attacks on foreigners (including Zambians). And now we have stooped to their low-life levels. They should be attacking their own government for failing to respond to their grievances and not innocent immigrants trying to make a living.
Simple solution, if you have a job you don’t have time to go looting….. GRZ has failed the youth of Zambia
ANd then…
