MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba has advised party members who have applied to stand on other political parties to come back to the party saying they will just be used and dumped.

Dr. Mumba says some members have applied on PF tickets while others on UPND saying they will be used and not adopted in the last minute.

He says such members will not be adopted even if they decide to come back to the party.

Dr. Mumba says they should not be used as this will not work to their advantage but to the advantage of the parties they are supporting.

He says the former ruling party remains committed in seeing to it that they perform accordingly during August elections.

  1. YOU WANT TO DO THE SAME, USE THEM TO GET YOURSELF A JOB WITH LUNGU. A LEADER WITHOUT FOLLOWING CANNOT BE A LEADER. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST MUMBA BUT HIS SUPPORT FOR WRONG DOERS THAT HAVE CAUSED THE ECONOMY TO COLLAPSE AND LOOTED THE COUNTRY’S RESOURCES. MUMBA WITHDRAW YOUR SUPPORT FOR PF AND STAND WITH THE ZAMBIANS OR EVEN BE LIKE FDD WHERE YOU DO NOT SUPPORT ANYONE BUT STAND WITH ZAMBIANS AND DO NOT SELL YOURSELF LIKE YOU HAVE DONE IN THE PAST AND ALL WILL BE WELL WITH YOU. PLUS LEARN TO LISTEN TO OTHERS.

    • What is Mumba saying : “He says such members will not be adopted even if they decide to come back to the party.” So why does he want those people back if MMD will not adopt them? Most people know a lost cause when they see it. MMD under Nervous is finished

    • MUMBA IS ANOTHER POLITICIAN WITH STUUP1D TRICKY OF A MONKEY. HE ALWAYS THINKS NO ONE IS SEEING THROUGH HIS MONKEY TRICKS. WHEN IT WAS APPARENT THAT PF AND MMD WILL MARRY HE DID NOT CARE WHO DEFECTED, MAINLY TO PF, BUT UPND. NOW THAT PF HAS SAID THEY DON’T NEED AN ALLIANCE WITH ANY POLITICAL KANTEMBA HE HAS JUST REALISED THAT THOSE DEFECTING TO PF WILL HAVE JOBS WHILE THE LEADER (HIMSELF) FROM WHERE THEY ARE DEFECTING WILL BE LEFT WITH NO JOB AFTER AUGUST 11. HENCE, HE IS CALLING THEM BACK SO THAT HE SINKS WITH THEM IN THE SAME BOAT AFTER AUGUST. AMANO YACE UYU MUNTU. ALEMONA FULU AMANO YAKA KOLWE AKWATA EYAKWATA NABANANKWE AYAKUSEKANE FIPATO.

  2. He shot himself in the foot when he agreed to swallow the bait from the slimy ECL. He lost all the little credibility he had left in him.

  3. Nevers should have read the story called ‘The washer man’s donkey’, having done his secondary school stint in the seventies. That story gives lessons which Nevers has apparently not learnt! You will continue being bruised should you continue with your quest for unbridled opulence. You had your chance when Mwanawasa appointed you Vice President. Lightening rarely strikes twice in the same place.

  4. Nevers, such a forlorn lonely fellow. What’s happened to the might man. Nevers shall never be saved.

  5. And Mutati & company are busy calling for a convention which they are organizing at all. Just another tactic by Mutati and UPND to sow confusion in MMD and stop the alliance with PF. Also to stop MMD from choosing candidates for the elections. Unfortunately, nothing is working for UPND despite this gigantic effort and last ditch attempt at plot one. I now believe that these things are given by God.

  6. Ba Nevers ba kabolala. We will never forget your deals in Canada. Where did 1/2 million go given to you as a donation to your cultural program by Barrick? Ati he paid for a carpet and home fixtures. Should not cost more than $5,000. While other diplomats benefited and bought homes in Canada while sending 3-5 of their children to college and university. Please look into this ba ACC and you will find out how diplomats hide money abroad and how the Kwacha is spent. Some of these people are still politicians. Call the schools abroad and get information and even immigration will tell you their current residency applications. We have a right to know.
