Power Dynamos fire Chilumba?

FAZ Super Division side Power Dynamos have reportedly fired head coach Tenant Chilumba.

According to the club media team, Chilumba has been dismissed together with goalkeeper coach Martin Mwamba and physical trainer Lennox Changala.

Coach Anderson Phiri who was Chilumba’s assistant is said to have been made interim head trainer.

“Power Dynamos Coach Tenant Chilumba, goalkeeper coach Martin Mwamba and physical trainer (Lennox) Changala have been fired with immediate effect.

“Anderson Phiri and coach Alex Namazaba are in charge,” read the statement from the Power media team.

Power are eighth on the table with 10 points from 7 games.

Meanwhile, Power Chief Executive Officer Ricky Mumfunda has expressed ignorance over reports suggesting that his club had fired Chilumba.

“Unfortunately I am not in Kitwe so I can’t issue any statement. I cannot comment on anything that is on social media,” Mumfunda said.

Chilumba was last month given an ultimatum after Power kicked off the season on a low note.

  1. Comment:its a common trend at power dynamos of firing and hiring coaches.
Power have a tendecy of firing coaches regardless of the perfomance.
The example is that of Fordson kabole and Guston mutobo.
There is a invisible hand that has a part in all this fiasco. Its the mo reason why power have under performed inspite of them injecting alot of money into the game.

  2. Chilumba hasnt delivered y do u want us to keep its actually long overdue and we aint in habit of firing when was chilumba employed -he has failed to deliver we r a big club and more money that side we expect better results .modern word is about performance thats y even chipolopolo coaches dont deliver bcos u dont give them targets
