THE Patriotic Front (PF) has said it is a normal occurrence to have disputes during the adoption process of candidates.

PF deputy spokesperson Frank Bwalya said it was normal to have problems during the adoption process as sometimes the people in charge of adoptions could have a different view about certain candidates.

Mr Bwalya said it was normal as the people appointed to conduct adoptions were human and were prone to make mistakes.

He was speaking during a special programme on Hot FM Radio.

“There is no political party that can claim that they have not had problems with adoptions. We (PF) can’t lie, we have had problems in adoptions. People in the central committee are just human and can also make mistakes,” Mr Bwalya said.

He, however, said most of the mistakes in the adoption process were reversible.

Mr Bwalya said it was important for everyone who had applied to be adopted and might not be adopted to realise that there was a lot that could be done to make Zambia a better place and to enhance the party.

He was hopeful that the party would still remain united after the adoptions.

On Nevers Mumba’s MMD alliance with the United Party for National Development , Mr Bwalya said it was important for a party to enter into an alliance with an equal partner.

Mr Bwalya said being with someone who was equal gave a chance to one to negotiate the conditions and terms of the alliance.

“In politics, you are better off entering into an alliance with someone who is an equal partner so that the person looks at you as someone they can’t do without. It would give you the bargaining power on certain things,” Mr Bwalya said.

He said the party would be launching the manifesto on the Copperbelt at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Saturday this week.

  1. why not sue if you have the money to bring people from across the country. Why should you give us money for coming to Lusaka when you fail to help us with money.
    BP ex worker

    • For your information, this matter has been in court for over 10 years. This mater stems out of greedy by HH to take over the workers insurance scheme arranged by Z SIC and then BP. When Puma bought BP, new Puma HRD was approached by Sartunia with a better offer than ZSIC and by then HH was already major share holder of Sartunia.

So it means HH was aware as to how Sartunia took over from ZSIC. It is therefore indeed surprising and really unfair for HH to now say he does not own Sartunia simply because the courts have exhausted the matter and has ordered Sartunia to pay employees what is due to them.
This is the problem with HH about his wealth. It is all stolen. Privatization and crookedness.
HH should come clean if we have to trust what he claims that he will rule by bible standards.

    • Transporting same drunken people to Ndola on those overloaded bus. How many PF died when PF failed to launch manifesto in Lusaka?

  2. I think Mary you are very right. If the organisers have the money why not sue so that the court could make a ruling. HH is not the owner but a share holder. There are many share holders in this why target HH. Political gain?!!!!.
Mary Temob you are absolutely right, they have the money, why cant they sue?

    • GREAT MARY VERY WISE WORDS. PF ARE DESPERATE TO PULL HH DOWN BUT TOO BAD THEY ARE SHOOTING IN THE AIR. SHAME ON YOU, POOR FAMILY.

  3. So you are saying that Shareholders can can borrow money and following day declare bankruptcy and bank will not claim the money because these are not owner of the company but only shareholders. I do not think so. This is utter theft.

  4. You are leaving out the root cause of all these rangles in PF. Sort out Rupiah Banda as he is a major cause of all these disputes. PF is on its knees. Bwezani is finishing PF. PF will suffer defeat because of Mr Bwezani Banda. The old man is suppose to be a source of wisdom but he is now a source of confusions hence people are leaving PF. This is exactly what he did to MMD AND hence he conceded defeat.

Some political parties wanted to use the tribal tag in order to create a bad atmosphere between the bembas and the tongas. These two tribes have no basis to remain permanent enemies which their common enemy is capitalising on to achieve political ambitions. Lets show the people preaching tribalism that their tactics to divide and rule will not work on 11/08/2016.

  5. This disputes remind of job interviews where one paints up a good picture of themselves and how they will be valuable to the company but in this case we have a politician who is promising to serve the people and to work for the country. If your heart lies in serving the people, why collapse or cry or complain,as a servant of the people tali you find another capacity to serve people, maybe form an NGO or as it is you are all just after a job.Bamambala?

  6. Even the abnormal Edgar chakolwa kaloba Wrungu and frank bwalwa in the pfool family are normal.

  7. Father Bwalya kwena mwe bantu.. why do u ignore the grassroot input in the selection process? If a candidate is preferred by party officials at the local level MCCs must respect this input to encourage the local level growth of the party. Now when u ignore them how do u expect them to work with candidates they do not prefer? After all our work in the communities how do u expect us to face pipo who gave us their preferred candidates after MCCs ignored our reports? Even the pipo who visit constituences from the national campaign team and secretariate do even meet pipo in communities but target individuals who have not link to the grassroots. Some even demand for payments in exchange for favourable reports on candidates. Better watch especially Luapula… while ECL has no problems it is the…

  8. Grass roots can germinate even after the fire. No one is uprooting. We want to burn the grass this because there are a lot of ticks in the grass Mr. Bwalya, for example, most people who have been adopted are ticks.
