Vice President Inonge Wina says her government has made steady progress in its quest to develop the country.

Mrs. Wina says government under the leadership of President Lungu since the demise of late President Michael Sata has spread its development agenda throughout the year.

ZANIS reports that Mrs Wina said this when she addressed residents of Mkushi at separate campaign rallies held at Mkushi presidential square and Masansa area yesterday.

She implored residents to vote for President Edgar Lungu in the August 11th general elections because his administration was committed to improving the plight of all Zambians irrespective of creed or tribe.

Government was eager to consolidate development in all districts adding that it was working hard to sure that Mkushi District was abreast with the rest of the country in all sectors of national development, she said.

Mrs. Wina said the PF administration initiated construction projects such as roads, health posts and schools in various parts of Mkushi district.

She further noted that the government had been implementing various programmes that aim at mitigating effects of poverty among the vulnerable people adding that the policies of the ruling party are pro-poor.

The Vice President said in view of this, there was need for Mkushi residents to give President Lungu many votes in the general elections in order to maintain the momentum of progress.

  1. For continuity of looting by Edgar my foot only fools would support what you said madam Inonge

    • Only the visionless PF bandits can vote for visionless Lungu!

Ms Wina, 60 days is remaining for you & PF violence & visionless bandits. Tired of PFs short legged lies, tribalism, violence & failures. A woman was undressed in front of you Ms Inonge Wina & you, Lungu & PF have been mute.

Time has come to kick PF corrupt cronies. Where is the BA’64 Bo Inonge? Where are the 500,000 jobs Bo Inonge? Ask Mr Mukanga were the national airline vanished to? Hopeless PF, bye bye visionless PF bandits. 60 days left & UPND takes over.

    • What continuit, continuity to no where? It’d be a sad day on 12th August if Lungu wins

  2. We will vote for Him Mama Wina! But why is your campagin so low key? In many districts all we are seeing is opposition posters, regalia, branded cars, etc. PF campagin must be aggressive and dont take things for granted.

  3. Lungu stole K12.8 million in 15 months so if he was given a 5 year term his assets will be around K100 million. The level of thuggery and killings will increase to a point where Zambia will become a failed and lawless state. Is this the continuity that Zambians are looking for? Of course not so all right thinking Zambians should not vote for Lungu and his PF. Lungu in his 15 months misrule and mismanagement has proved beyond any reasonable doubt that he will destroy Zambia. Apart stealing and amassing personal wealth Lungu is visionless and clueless to take Zambia forward. Lets try Team HH and UPND for a change. We want economic and financial managers to preside over Zambia. Lungu’s violent and thuggery behavior must come to an end on 11th August 2016. Vote for Team HH/GBM and UPND.

  4. LT, I notice that for both rallies in Serenje and Mkushi by the Vice President, there are no images to accompany the articles. Or where they closed door meetings perhaps? You are usually very good with supplying pictures for PF events.
