PF Member of the Central Committee Chishimba Kambwili has laughed off assertions that the PF is struggling to organise rallies across the country.
In an interview in Lusaka, Mr Kambwili said the PF campaigns are underway adding that individual members standing as Members of Parliament have been encouraged to start campaigns in their respective areas.
“For example, in Roan, our team is on the ground and currently we are just compiling data on the number of registered voters in my constituency and then we will launch a door to door campaign before rallies could commences,” Mr Kambwili.
He said the perception that the PF campaigns are struggling to take off is merely a myth.
“There is this myth that we are not starting our campaigns, let me tell you that this is just a myth is no substance to it. Our campaigns will soon hit full swing but in house we are doing some issues but all the MPs have been told to go out and campaign,” he said.
Mr Kambwili who is also Information and Broadcasting Minister added that the PF campaigns are also centred on the developmental projects that it has initiated in the first five years of its administration.

He has dribbled himself from continuing with his political career.
HH’s political career has been deeply challenged, because after losing in August 2016 he will be forced to retire from active politics by the ‘guys’ or is he going to accept to be a mere UPND member, or at least a member of the NEC?
Let us assume that in the unlikely even he won the election (forgive me for assuming the impossible), GBM would be a thorn in HH’s flesh – take it or leave it. GBM would have a constitutional mandate just like HH, and HH will have no powers to fire him. Those who know GBM will tell you, that HH’s would not be easy.
You may not like what I have said but that matters little the point is that, whichever way, HH’s career has taken a self-inflicted challenge because of greed – the hunger and thirsty for State House.
In the Sata’s campaign time, we used to enjoy PF rallies everyday, and till late until ZP movies in to tear-gas them for campaigning after 19:00 hrs.
But this year, is probably the most boring campaign in Zambia ever.
PF inertia can only be explained by the fact that they have some sort of assurance that they are winning and that can only come from rigging.
PF campaigns are not helped by an absentee PF presidential candidate who takes a two week holiday after every two days of campaigns.

Mr Chimbwili, you surely have no brains and can’t understand or you are simply confused!! When you say, “but in house we are doing some issues” – this means your campaign has some snags or Problems. You call yourself a Doctor but you don’t know the “issues” you have admitted are causing the “snags” you are denying!
Does this hyena Chimbwili really understand English? Who will interpret this to him in Bemba so that he can get it!!

PF campaigns are “one man” centred and when that one man catches flu the whole party is paralyzed. The other problem is that PF’s message is a tired. Lungu may not be feeling well and besides it may be difficult for him at this stage to “sonta” where he got K12.8 m in 15 months. The other possibility is that Lungu/RB with their RIgging Team are reviewing the rigging strategy following HH choosing GBM as his Running Mate. PF are aware of GBM’s political mobilisation skills and are scared stiff to lose support to UPND in the CB and Northern Provinces. The numbers showing up at UPND rallies lately must be worrying ECL and PF. They are trying to see how to steal votes in their own strongholds. With defection to other political parties PF’s organising skills has been depleted.
On the converse, the many opposition rallies that were either cancelled, tear-gassed, or denied venues, left a hunger and a curiosity amongst ordinary folk, particularly in rural areas. This open campaign period is being fully utilised to make up for lost time. The coming in of the Northern Front (GBM, Sampa etc) has transformed and re-branded what was labelled a ‘bantu-stan’ party, tribal and so on. The crowds being drawn at very short notice, both in urban and rural areas, with no prior notices or provision of transport, is nothing but phenomenal. Rod Stewart said, ‘The first cut is the deepest’ and UPND are in haste to do exactly that. Peaceful campaigns is all we pray for.
IN HIS STATEMENT THE 1D1OT DR. KAMBWILI IS URGING INDIVIDUAL PF CANDIDATES TO GO TO THEIR RESPECTIVE CONSTITUENCIES TO START CAMPAIGNING. HE ALSO SAYS THAT SOON HE WILL START A DOOR TO DOOR CAMPAIGN. THESE STATEMENTS ARE AN INDICATION CONFIRMING THAT INDEED PF ARE YET TO START THEIR CAMPAIGNS. IT IS GOOD FOR THE COUNTRY AS IT WOULD HELP TO KICK OUT PF IN THE FIRST ROUND.

Chagwa was very angry after the Levy Mwanawasa PF rally debacle and he vowed to fix PF operatives who had clearly embezzled the funds released by state house for mobilisation. So he has withheld funds and everyone now is in a limbo.This is coupled with the fact that he drank his head off on sunday night and is still suffering from a heavy hangover,the ZNBC pictures say it all.People PF is in ICU.
It is true PF is worry us supporters from the time they launched campaign only 2 rallies UPND have finished going round the country they are well organised than PF. Dont think that it will be the same as 2015 elections. If you continue eating sausages in Lusaka you don’t want to be in field for campaign and expect a win you are doomed, dead and buried on 11th August am a full supporter of PF . But am seeing a disaster
