Konkola maintain four-point lead in Division 1

Konkola Blades at the weekend maintained a four-point lead at the summit of the FAZ Division One Zone Two table after securing a 1-0 win over visiting FQM Mining in Chililabombwe.

Dickson Chapa scored the solitary goal in this Week 12 match played at Konkola Stadium.

The victory over FQM moved Konkola to 26 points after 11 games.

Elsewhere, Gomes Wanderers stayed second on the table after stunning Kitwe United 1-0 at Garden Park Stadium on Sunday in Kitwe.

Gomes now sits on 22 points after 11 games.

In Ndola, third placed Copperbelt Buffaloes were held to a 1-1 draw by promoted Chingola Police.

There were also wins for Chambishi, Kansanshi Dynamos, Roan United and Kalulushi Modern Stars.
