ZAF Interfering With UPND Campaign Again
Once again we are seeing the Zambian Air Force interfering with our campaigning schedule after cancelling our flying permit to Luapula at late notice with the sole intention of disrupting our rallies, draining our resources and further fanning the tensions on the ground being felt across Zambia. The following airspace clearance certificate demonstrates the illegal and provocative behaviour we face. We have now lost a major rally plan.
The Zambian Air Force is funded by the tax payer and their role is to be neutral. Unfortunately senior officials within the Air Force, including Colonel Jere, are abusing their power, corrupting our society, and demolishing the public’s faith in democracy. It is time for them to go.
We have made it clear to these officials that they need not fear us when we come into power. We are not the tyrannical brutes that we see in the PF, we just want to do the best for our country, create jobs for our people and fix our broken economy. Colonel Jere and his thuggish tactics represent everything that is deplorable about PF’s regime, but we shall allow them to enjoy their retirement.
We call on all Zambians and all stakeholders to stand steady and resolute. If PF think they will frustrate us, they are in for a shock. We are not relenting, if it means us traversing Luapula on bicycles to spread our message of hope, we shall do just that.

The Air commander made it clear that he will not allow UPND to fly to these areas to campaign its there on LT archives..
But is President Lungu’s campaign team not travelling there, too? After all UPND has been allowed to be there on a number of occasions. Let UPND also allow the President’s team to be there, too. Am sure ZAF is doing this to secure the security of the Presidential team.

Zambia is going back to one party state very soon.
There is nothing wrong with the cancellation. The President will be in Luapula for 3 days and during that time no planes or choppers can be flying anyhow in that area. Edgar is the country’s president not just a political party president so don’t equate yourself to him ba GBM, its a matter of security.

The greatest mistake that we Zambians made was to elect Lungu as State President. In January 2015 we did not know Lungu that much but his stealing of client’s money and the violent and irregular manner in which he grabbed the PF Presidency indicated taletell signs ahead. Lungu during the last 16 months has revealed his true character. Lungu is not humble or Godly. He is a thug,brutal, violent and dictatorial. If Lungu succeeds in rigging the upcoming elections then Zambians will regret ever electing Lungu to be President. Zambia will become another failed state Ugandan and Zimbabwean style. We have to stop Lungu and his visionless and violent PF. On 11th August Zambians have a chance to redeem themselves by electing Team HH & GBM under UPND.
