Vice president Inonge Wina has said President Edgar Lungu has not discriminated any region in the country from benefiting from the developmental projects that the PF government has implemented in the last five years.

The Vice president said the PF government has managed to distribute projects throughout the country and cited the construction of 650 health posts, upgrading of primary schools into secondary schools among others projects.

Ms Wina was speaking yesterday during a campaign rally at Mukandakunda ground in Zambezi district.

“You have been voting for the opposition who are not able to associate with government for you to fully benefit from developmental projects, but President Lungu has not discriminated in taking development to all the people,” the vice president said.

She said it is difficult for an opposition member of parliament to bring to government’s attention the needs of the people and this is why some areas are lagging behind in development.

And when introducing the parliamentary and local government candidates to the electorates Ms Wina asked the candidates in Zambezi East constituency to work with the people and ensure they consolidate votes for President Edgar Lungu in the August 11 general elections.

“We are here to solicit your vote because it is important for the country to move from stagnation to better. You give President Lungu a candidate who will be able to work to deliver development” Ms Wina said

The vice president urged the people to vote for Brigadier general Kenneth Kankiza (retired), the PF candidate in the August 11 elections so that he can work with government to address their needs.

Ms Wina who also encouraged the people to vote YES in the upcoming referendum said that people agreeing to amend the bill of rights will constitutionally compel the PF administration to provide services to the people such as water, sanitation, health services and education.

Health deputy minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya and Ambassador David Saviye urged the people to vote for the PF candidates in the forthcoming elections for continued development.

And PF Zambezi East aspiring candidate Brigadier general Kankiza asked the people to vote for him, President Lungu and the ruling party in next month’s election because he will be able to address their challenges.

The vice president is in north western province to drum up support for PF candidates in the August 11 general elections.

Ms Wina said she was concerned that there are no female candidates contesting in the local government elections and hoped that the situation will change in the 2021 general elections. She however warned the people to be wary of some politicians who want to go to parliament to represent themselves and advised the people to judge such politicians.
Ms Wina is scheduled to hold a series of campaign rallies and meetings with party officials in all the 11 districts in the province before returning to Lusaka on Friday.

  1. Tell them mama. These people were too behind with reality. 15 years voting for swine who can’t win elections.

    • Did madam Inonge Wina use the road to reach Solwezi or she flew hence she not aware of the state of the road from Chingola to Solwezi? That is all but part of Dununa Reverse.

  2. Don’t vote for killers. Don’t vote for a party that wants to restrict your freedom of accessing information by shutting down independent media.

Keep PF thugs far from you. In lusaka and CB innocent citizens are constantly harrassed in markets and bus stops if the express any individual political choice.

  3. Has she not yet heard about the killing of a young woman ? She has not condemed the killing, what does that mean?

  4. Forgive this old grandma she will not be the one paying back for all those projects including the 650 health clinics funded by the Indian Exim Bank.

    • LET ME TELL U. It is u Hyena Hazaluza (HH) again failures riddled with soiled Tonga blood ranting. Just like your leader Under 5, promises anything to get plot 1, you say anything even to our enemies just to make under 5 win votes. U CONTINUE WITH AMSUSHI.
US WE KNOW. THIS ELECTION IS ALREADY DECIDED. HH 0, ECL IN PLOT 1, WE ARE JUST WONDERING WHY SOMEONE CANNOT WIND THE CLOCK SO THAT AUGUST 11 COMES TOMORROW SO THAT WE PLUG IMISULA yenu BA NEGA NEGA. YOUR SMELL IS SUFFOCATING TOO MUCH TO BEAR

  5. Madam campaign even harder. Those people are so anti PF. If PF can score at least 70,000 votes in N. Western and 70,000 in Southern, then it is a foregone conclusion.

    • St.Sweet fimofimo. I want to speak for the people of Kasempa because that is where I come from. In 1996 people voted for National Party and the late Lieutenant Patrick Kafumukache cry because he failed to deliver development to the area, they rejected MMD. Later the whole North-western province changed their support to UPND. UPND’s vote was stolen by Vernon Mwanga and Chiluba. But still the people of North-western province they remained in UPND. It was Mwanawasa Levy who became the Chief Executive of this Great Country called Zambia. Mwanawasa Levy sent Ben Tetamashimba to campaign for Levy and Levy took the Tarred Road to Kasempa and that is not all he Levy supported farmers by giving them affordable fertilise. And Kasempa become the one of MMD strong holds. So P.F must prove itself to…

    • Banyoko, i like your high hopes. I wished it happened like that. I am a resident of the Copperbelt and i come from Eastern Province near Muchinga. Believe me, Eastern, Muchinga and Copperbelt are 80% PF. I know you wouldn’t want to hear this. But it is reality on the ground. Though i do not live in Northern and Luapula, i can tell you that your assessment is wrong and you will be shocked. Lungu is always on people’s lips for his works and of course humility. This is my opinion

    • You are Mad,you think GBM is Northern Province, wait and see: Nega Nega taught all Zambians how to VOTE…GBM is not a factor in Northern just as NEVERS even failed in Chinsali..SAMPA feared to contest Matero because he knew the outcome. GBM failed to challenge PF as MP when he was expelled. WAIT AND SEE WHAT WILL HEAT UPND…

  7. I hope Mrs. Wina was not misquoted in one of the paragraphs above where she says “We are here to solicit your vote because it is important for the country to move from stagnation to better”
This quotation alone suggests that Mrs Wina is admitting that the country is currently stagnant and needs to move FORWARD “to better”. PF beware of the watermelon (Curcubita pepo) revolution. Green outside; deep red inside!

    • Exactly my sentiments @Warlord how does she say ““We are here to solicit your vote because it is important for the country to move from stagnation to better. You give President Lungu a candidate who will be able to work to deliver development” Ms Wina said”? Really If we are stagnated with PF how will the better the already stagnated situation? Someone wake me up from this horrendous dream! And the uneducated electorates were busy clapping for her really???? #ZambiaChe

  8. I ve never insulted Inonge Wina,i think let me insult her now before she is out employment next month.”This woman is working like a prostitute,a thief prostitute, she is a sellout, firstly she betrayed her own Lozi poeple, then betrayed the entire Zambia in Kabwe,if it wasnt for her middle of the night injuction,we wudnt be suffering like this,Mapenzi wudnt ve be killed, the economy wud ve been performing,Loadshedding wud ve been controlled, the kwacha wud be stable. She is working like a prostitute who doesnt feel like facking but she has to go out on the streets & fack because her stoogie has paid her rent already & she has to bring in an income”.Wina knows that there if nothing for PF out there but she continues with her mistakes.

    • @ redbull, I could not have said it better!

This old woman has sold any prinicples she might have had for a few pieces of silver. The crashed economy, high mealie meal prices, collapse of the rule of law can all be laid squarely at her doorstep.

She obviously has no morals at all, and was just riding on her family name.

  9. No one attends this old junk’s rallies. But she still continues to meander into Zambian Politics. At that age,If she was my grandmother,i wud want her to be at our family farm or House kuma yard so that i can she can die in peace.Everybody by now knows the end of all these PF Stoogies and Prostitutes.cos in PF;you are either a Stoogie or a Prostitute.Thats what PF under Lungu exactly is.Pimps and Hookers.Lungu,Chama,Kambwilil,Bwalya,Simbyakula etc and Esther,Dora,Mumbi,Margaret,Emily,Inonge etc.

  10. Mayo namukota please katusheni. Politics is not or you and you are not making any positive contributions to PF. The strategy at first was good to have a woman role model and women inclusion with diversity and inclusion but you are not working out and not benefiting PF at all. I am not a fan of GBM and never will be but look at how successful this giant is at pulling crowds under your very feet! Are there not questions about an alleged $33 million healthcare scam and you have the health deputy minister Dr. Chitalu Chilufya helping with campaigns? PF is all about plundering and sharing what each member steals. Thank goodness Aug 11, 2016 is coming.

  11. Why vote for the Party which has destroyed police force allowing cadres to dress in police uniforms after receiving short training of how to kill innocent citizens. We reject you in the name of Jesus.

  12. BO KUKU INONGE MUSIKE MWAKATAZA BATU. YOU TOLD ZAMBIANS THAT NO MORE UPND IN WESTERN PROVINCE BUT YOU WERE SHOCKED, YOU ALMOST COLAPSED WITH HBP WHEN THE A TEAM OF UPND ARRIVED AT THE AIRPORT IN MONGU. PEOPLE WHO WELCOMED THE TEAM WAS HUGE THAN THOSE WHO WELCOMED YOU.
MAMA DONT CHEAT PEOPLE. GEN KANKINZA’S VILLAGE IS JUST CLOZER TO CHIEF ISHINDI’S PALACE BUT THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE IMAGE OF YOUR PRESIDENT. VIVA HH EVEN IN THE PALACE DISPITE INCREASING THEIR STIPENDS TO K15000/CHIEF, THIS HAS JUST INCREASED TEMPERS OF THEIR SUBJECTS BECAUSE THEY DONT FEED THEM.

  13. LT is this deliberate or just ‘one of those things’, the Veep’s reported rallies are usually devoid of any pictures of the crowds/attendants. Or maybe they will follow in This Week in Pictures article…..

  14. The PF Govt is the worst devt that has ever happened in Zambia since 1964. Lungu has destroyed all good governance state institutions which were professional and turned them into PF partisan govt institutions. PF thugs have been infiltrated into govt institutions like ZRP. The Policemen who shot and injured UPND supporters and killed Mapenzi are PF thugs planted into ZRP and given ZRP uniforms and guns to shoot unarmed and innocent UPND supporters. We must vote out this thug and thief President and replace him with HH. Lungu can try and rig these elections but to no avail. Vote for Team HH,GBM & UPND.

  15. The tour of the province has showed you that the people are not interested in your party. These projects you were commissioning were finalized in MMD but you have failed even to put furniture in it.
Anyway other provinces can vote for PF but not North western.Better to be alone than be in support of murders and panga people.
I salute people of North Western as you have proved to be firm with your principles.

  16. Talking sense, she said so because they always vote for the opposition who thinks they can not develop the place if they do so praises will go to the ruling party, so vote for the ruling party so that you can move from where you are to another level, not that pf has failed to develop no. she just wants pf to represent that place in parliament for smooth transition of disbursement of CDF money and other development programs. PF is not a fairer where development in concerned, they have done wonders all throughout the country, only those who can look but cannot see can dispute.

  17. Ba UPND are still day dreaming that NWP is still theirs….you will cry come August 11.We are tired of voting for masonists dunk with human blood while dressed in red berets.
Development is a continuos process…..so what if PF completes projects left by MMD ? That’s the way to go in a democratic country.

  18. UPND this year will get 99 percent vote in Southern and will give zeros to other presidential candidates. In the 9 provinces UPND should be taught a lesson by also giving them the zeros. Most Tongas, not all of them of course are very tribal people and they need a good lesson this year.

  19. iwee tawa kakote pamo na banoko, have respect for elders no wonder upnd u ll neva test victory pantu mulaishamika. the curse came wen u were wishing sata dead and telling him tt he is a urine bag imwe calipwa u need to confess and stop satanic behaviour this is a christian nation no wonder u dont like prayers and start giving excuses for not attending twalimishiba. and lozis a still supporting u wat a shame
