UPND Kabwata aspiring candidate Mulenga Sata yesterday rubbished reports suggesting that he was a missing candidate in Kabwata, as he has allegedly not been seen conducting meetings in the constituency.
Mr Sata has accused the Patriotic Front (PF) of being behind the spread of the false rumors that he had gone into oblivion and was not campaigning.
In an interview with the Daily Nation yesterday, Mr Sata said he was the candidate with more posters in Kabwata constituency than any other aspirant.
“If you compare the posters that I have with others in Kabwata constituency you will see that I am around campaigning unless if those who are saying I am not campaigning need different types of campaigns, which I don’t know of,” he said.
Mr Sata said it was impossible for him to be in each and every part of Kabwata constituency for people to see that he was campaigning.
“I want to win the Kabwata constituency seat; that is why I am campaigning on the ground but please remember that I cannot be everywhere at the same time,” he said.
Mr Sata said he had a strong and hardworking campaign committee who were on the ground campaigning for him.
“We have been having door-to-door campaigns, meetings with women and youth groups in the constituency, and tomorrow I will be meeting a group of pastors,” he said.
Mr Sata said time for rallies would soon come and the people of Kabwata would be able to see him.
“I have been meeting different groups of women, men and the youth. Tomorrow I will be meeting a group of pastors, so I don’t understand why people are saying that I am missing in my constituency,” he said.
Mr Sata wondered what kind of campaigns people were expecting him to be engaged in.
Bwana you have to go out there and campaign if you want to win, the number of posters you have will never make you win an election only the message will…..
That’s how Upnd deceive themselves. By counting posters and the number of bloggers on the online media they think that’s how you win elections. Leave these under5s to lose again. Don’t hint them about the winning formula.

The problem with Mulenga Sata is that he thinks try to woo people’s votes is like selling dogs where the more adverts for dogs on sale you have the more you are likely to interest people in buying your dogs.

Mulenga Sata is not a seasoned politician who can make any mark on the political scene. In the last elections he managed to sail through because of the late father and the Party he stood for. Let him now prove his popularity in Kabwata.

If you want to win you have to connect with people. You have to talk to them and listen to what they want and the changes they want in place. It is not running a dog breeding place no bane! You have to be up by 5am and hustle till 9pm. You have to work hard and show people this is how you will work for them. If you are a bum expecting others to do it for you and only rise when they succeed means you are a failure. Same failure you were in PF. Not sure why HH took some of these useless PF candidates including Nevers. They are muselela kwakaba including Sichinga. Sichinga is just a finished product with problems and kids all over the place.

how do you campaign with people that are saying PF has done nothing since 2011. am sure he has just failed to comprehend the campaigns. He has to choose between HH and His Late Father in coining his message. its very difficult situation for him and it would be so for everyone. He did not know and never anticipated this. He joined Maureen whose situation suits her 100%. Sata and Mwanawasa were political enemies.

Mr. Mulenga Sata is riding on the back UPND thinking that Votes for HH/GBM will also be his. Surely this guy is gone missing. I have not seen him and his campaign team in Chilenje. At least for Mrs. Scot, I have seen a lot of her team going around. Lets wait and see what happens next but Mulenga needs to up his campaign effort to have effects on the ground.
