Nkana coach Aggrey Chiyangi is impressed with his team’s display in Saturday’s home 4-2 win over FAZ Super Division leaders Zanaco.
The win helped Nkana, who have 50 points, to cut Zanaco’s lead at the top from eight to five points.
“I feel happy. It is good that we have reduced the gap between Zanaco and us,” Chiyangi said.
“It is important that we have won the game and the players have done very well,” he said.
It was probably Nkana’s best performance so far in the season.
Chiyangi said Nkana are putting behind the win against Zanaco to focus on their next fixture – which is the Kitwe derby at Power Dynamos.
“We have now against Zanaco, now we have to look at the next game,” he said.
Nkana avenged the 2-0 loss suffered at Zanaco on July 2 in Lusaka.
